I dunno, to me the mood was very solemn. Voldemorts laugh to me registered perfectly with the scene, my cinema was almost crying from the moment, the laugh made it worse because it was a slightly insane sounding laughter, but also with a certain joy behind it, it made it even worse to my cinema and deepened the moment, and the sheer loathing over Voldemort. That laugh was an equal measure of his insanity and joy toward killing Hary and the misery he was causing everyone by rubbing it in...

Whatever happened to the book's Voldemort? You know, bloody red eyes with slits for pupils, skeletal with skin whiter than bones, no lips, no nose, snake like and that insane high-pitched, mirthless voice and laugh. That made Voldemort actually super creepy and scary in the books and they failed that in the movies. Especially when you find out how that voice is actually supposed to sound, it's insanely brutal. I finished HP 4 today for the third time. On to number five!
