Government is only a tyranny because they allow corporations to have rights as if they are "persons". These rights to be abolished. There is a big difference between a normal company, and a "corporation". The rich lobby and have the largest influence in government; and this is wrong. Government should serve the people as a whole; and local government should have far more power than the central government - when dealing with its constituents. No private influence should have its hold on govt.

Things like health care, schools, trains, national oil reserves, and water supply should be publically owned at a state level. Why? Well, a single-payer health care system would be more just for the poor. There is a difference between socialist syndicalism with state-funding than communism. Go and do the research. Also, a single-payer, not-for-profit health care system is far better than the system in place now. The right to good health care is a fundamental right for all; just as is education a fundamental right for all. It is not fair that the rich be allowed to be favoured, or those who can afford the insurance payments.
The rich elites already treat both the middle class and the working class as slaves; via the fractional reserve credit-based system and the control of world assets by a select clique of banks and corporations. In the case of a single-payer health care system; I would make reccommendations to state governments to enact it. I would order money from the rich elites to fund the system; so that they stop looting society and help contribute to the health of all.

Well I think more power to local government and a more transparent participatory structure in decision making and politics in general would help eradicate the bloated and wasteful central government agenda.

And I would have a process where government consults with the workers who can then elect the heads of their own companies; decide the course of their own companies and vote for funding, wages, etc. Government should be an arbitrator between the worker-run companies that exist in different states or regions as well as providing funds based on requests by the state representatives for the company.

I don't know what we're headed toward, but last Tuesday there were two part time jobs available at a warehouse paying $8.50 an hour and there must have been a hundred solid yards of cars lined up on the road outside the place. Salaries for UPS Fleet Mechanics , for example, start at $13.00 an hour and can go up to $21.75 per hour for Fleet Mechanic Supervisor positions within a depot shop. There is a big difference between a normal company, and a "corporation". The rich lobby and have the largest influence in government; and this is wrong. Government should serve the people as a whole; and local government should have far more power than the central government - when dealing with its constituents. I would force the restructuring of all corporations so that they are no longer operating under that fascist model. From what I've read; a corporation is legally regarded to be a "person". And thus they somehow have rights; as if they grow old, vote, die in Iraq, etc. But yet corporations can pass ownership, have several owners, be in many locations at once, treat their workers as commodities, etc. Corporations are fascist entities; they care more about their banker interests than their workers.

Why should the public manage private enterprise? You have a say in health care, retirement, and employment when you have free markets and less government intervention. The only entity that has a say in socialism is the government. Our founding belief in this country is to distrust government because in its nature it wants to control, so I suppose that is why we are "hard wired" to react negatively to socialism. Things like health care, schools, trains, national oil reserves, and water supply should be publically owned at a state level. Why? Well, a single-payer health care system would be more just for the poor. Everybody deserves a good education, and everybody deserves trains that run on time, and oil and water are assets that should be secured by the people rather than bankers.

The right to good health care is a fundamental right for all; just as is education a fundamental right for all. I don't know what we're headed toward, but last Tuesday there were two part time jobs available at a warehouse paying $8.50 an hour and there must have been a hundred solid yards of cars lined up on the road outside the place. Filthy, ave UAW workrs wages is $73 ($40 being wages and $33 being benefits). Salaries for UPS Fleet Mechanics , for example, start at $13.00 an hour and can go up to $21.75 per hour for Fleet Mechanic Supervisor positions within a depot shop. I don't know about their benefits, but would not expect them to be up to $51, would you? That's why I think UAW is greedy and if someone is getting waterboarding, Gettlefinger should be one of them.

He does bring up a good point about labour being a dirty word, when inherently it isn't. If you talk to people who study the subject unions by themselves only have a minor influence on profitability - they will seldom put a company out of business by itself. From an owners perspective I would prefer not to have to deal with one but this does not mean that workers should not have the right to be in one if they aren't treated fairly. The U.S. via language manipulation has lost this.
