@satya201980 I'm no music expert but first dance/rhythm is in 3/4 time and sounds like some kind of minuet. Second, faster dance is 4/4 (or maybe cut time--2/2) and sounds like a jig. Reminds me of the first movement of St. Paul Suite, by Gustav Holst, which can be found here on YouTube.

There are no less than three musical themes in this piece (probably up to five, depending on how you hear it), and one meter change half way through. Menken should take this, re-score it to really flesh out those themes, and make the whole thing much longer (no less than five minutes). Then, I agree, they should play it at the Disney parks and have people dance to it. Or if they ever make a Broadway play/musical out of this movie, use the longer version for this scene.

Actually, we were at Disney World Magic Kingdom last week and saw the Rapunzel & Flynn characters. They did do a magic dance with the kids, which they found to be a blast!

Despite the amazing music, the dancing, and the wonderful bonding that occurs, my favorite part is when Flynn runs to pick up Rapunzel's hair. It's like he's really anxious to keep her from getting hurt. It's so sweet!!!!

I'm still looking at the meaning of the fact you almost never get to see the tip of Rapunzel's hair, it's always covered by something, or out of frame. (in the whole movie) Only in this scene, when it's braided, the shot opens with a close-up of the tip. It must have some kind of meaning.

(although Saint Anthony's fire did this in germany, back then known as "Tanzwut" (dance-rage) where people started to dance and not stopped until death of exhaustion)

medieval life was harsh, and it would have taken a person like Rapunzel to make them dance and enjoy themselves randomly. Not implying they didn't dance at all in medieval times, but only on scheduled occasions and feasts.
