  • Well now that we know the easy part how do u remove that damn panel to get to those damn bulbs?:-(

  • what are the bulb size? please help me

  • I'm trying to change the bulbs on my cluster(94 silverado) and the bulbs don't want to come out but when I get them out n replaced them that didn't turn back on,what did I do or what do I do?

  • @jakeboise1993 they have a negative and positive side, try disconecting them again and put them the other way around. same thing hapened to me when i put blue leds on my 99 nissan sentra.

  • you fool drink some water cotten mouth....lol

  • I think this dude smacks his lips so much so he can keep his perfect teeth in his mouth.

  • I went to superbright LEDs web site, and found all of the replacement bulb sizes I would need to replace the lights in the instrument cluster. I suggest wide angle single LED bulbs for indicators, battery, engine, etc, choose the color that best matches the silk screened filter. If it's a back light, then use the 9 LED bulbs that are made for the socket. That way you won't need to replace the bulbs for at least 100,000 hours.

  • sorry man maybe I can use leds?, how I know if the polarity is right because leds are DC and the other bulbs are CA, please helpme

  • @TheRicoMalibu Dash lights need to be able to dim, so the LED's would have to be able to do the same thing. Sounds like a good idea to me.

  • Where are the cables?????????

  • Dude has perfect teeth.

  • he looks like a pornstar

  • The video helped a lot thanks

  • how do you get the plugs on the left out of the dashboad.. so difficult and it is never covered. awesome videos thank you!

  • just did this on a 97 expedition. Easier than the explorer, you don't have to remove the knee bolster on an expedition.

  • is it okey if i replace the bulb with a different number of bulb?? the number of my bulb is 158.. i used #161 but it didnt work.. is the number of the bulb is the problem or theres another problem besides with the bulb? thanks. hope you can answer me with this

  • don't the oils from your hands reduce bulb life? This mechanic didn't sterilize the bulb after touching it with his fingers.

  • Thanks, very help full video,I have a suburban I going to switch to L E Ds. This helps.

  • ha. i have the same bulb blown.

  • does anyone know if i can just change the stock green dash lights to red by changing the bulb or is the plastic green?

  • @tzDub92 It's most likely green plastic at the lamp side, but I have used both blue and red lamps/LED's on many models and it works great.

  • @tzDub92 i want to know that too

if you get an answere msg me ;)

  • @Gunshow0 will do

  • @tzDub92 Did you ever find this out? I have an 02 Ford Ranger and I would like to change the instrument cluster lights from green to blue. Any help I would appreciate

  • @99f234 ive done alot of research but cant find much. srry

  • @tzDub92 It's all good, thanks!

  • I did this for my 1988 Ford Aerostar Eddie Bauer version. I had to change all the bulbs to the digital gauge, and it was pretty fun and interesting to do.

  • wow thanks i have a 99 ford ranger wiht a blown light bulb and this and the ford ranger are exactly the same

  • HelpFul

  • lls@buckdeer83 comment

  • i like this guy

  • can i add LED lights to dashboard? it's looks better

  • Your a fag so is ford

  • i have a 2005 mazda 3 all lights are working except for the blue background light is it same problem you had or is it something else and thow much would a job like this cost

  • wow...looks like he powdered his hands with break dust before shooting this video.

  • can you change the light colors of you cluster this way too?

  • I have a 1983 Ford F100 and the cluster on your truck is so similar..I pulled the panel out and changed the bulbs in less than 30 min..I love Ford..

  • how would you go about finding the correct size light bulbs?

  • Can you change the colors of the lights. mine lights up green.

  • @branman3333 the dash indicator lights are made green by a transparent green film just below the surface of the indicator. i think they glue on. in theory you could pull it off and put another one on in a different color. ive never done it but in theory it should be possible

  • @pfun41 very god "watson!" LMAO jk xP yes, i agree with you. SOME indash panels have a very light film on them. modern car have legit light plastic that maintains heat and resists very well.

  • I got a ford explorer 2010 its really nice but i prefer the lincoln navigator 2004, my ford never came with the exporer sigh on the door

  • wow thats alot of lights do all cars have the same amount of bulbs iv got a 96 ford escort cabrio and i want to replace them all with blue bulbs

  • someone else who has the sense to replace ALL the bulbs at the same time, as you can gaurantee that a week later if you dont another bulb will go,then another as their life spans are pretty much the same, when one goes, the rest will soon follow,AREPLACE ALL THE BULBS,will only cost a few pounds and save tons of hassle, especially if its a customers car.

  • Thats right, or you can just replace them all with LEDs instead of ordinary bulbs

  • @weedmasta1924 do they look exactly the same?

  • I have a 98 accord, i was installing a radio and somehow i lost my panel light, that light also goes on the gear shit and the A/C panel.

I hv checked the fuse. What else do you think i should do?

    thanks for your attention.

  • @maurydez check connectors and for chafed wire and the bulb

  • I have a 99 Ford Explorer and the windows and the wipers don't work. they stopped working at the same day. I did Check all fuses and relays and all are good. Do You have an idea what could be happening?

  • @Torts438 check em again? i thought i fried my computrer but later found a blown main fuse. i had looked when it first happend but i guess i missed it

  • omg gay

  • hey i have a 1998 eclipse and my instrument cluster lights are not working. my stereo system is working fine and my headlights do turn on. whats not working is the lights on the climate control knobs and non of the lights to da guages in the odometer are working. i removed da cluster but all of the bulbs looked o.k. if you or somebody can help me fix it i would really appreciate it. thanks!!!

  • sometimes the bulbs may look fine but they are actually burnt. did u try checking the bulbs individually by a tester or a multimeter? all the bulbs in the cluster are 12v so go ahead and try each and every bulb on 12v power source to see if they work. it they are working, then something must be wrong in the wiring of the cluster, check the fuse box to see if any fuse are blown coz the bulbs are not getting power. but i put my money on the blown part of the bulbs. hope this helps.

  • hey thanks,,, i took it to a auto electrician and they told me their was a short, the previous owner of the car made a big mess with all the wiring behind the dash. i gues they tried to install a stereo and oviously didnt know how. but i got all the wiring restored and organized, and spend $50 bucks.

    but yea thanks!!!

  • thats cool im gonna put new blue color bulbs in my altima

  • most definatly ^

  • its smart to replace all of them bulbs at the same time. it would be a pain in the ass to keep taking that apart all of the time
