  • this guy is horrible

  • @xCoPyxRiGhTx YOur horrible shut the fuck up you troll unless you have shit to back it up , if so post your video, and let the public decide who sucks.

  • I find it hard to believe Newell kept letters from you guys. Most colleges sent them to the house or made personal contacts. the fact is BG players were good but not USC/Mich/ TX good. you are stupid to even think he would do that.

  • BGmostwanted is right Coach Newell and Coach Smith Made B.G football! Before them it was nothing and after them it has been nothing!! We Carried out the tradition kept the league championship! And yes coach Newell held us back from our dreams not giving us our collage letters!!

  • just wait for the 2012 running back!(Me)

freshmen running back for class of 08-09

    Rickie Loera"

    bambam" your the inspiration.

no disrespect to you bam bam, but I'm going to break your records!

  • anything after 94 in BG football has been garbage...When we graduated we pushed that program all the way up to Division 3...Where u leyvas at now...Enough said...to his credit Newell built that program from the ground up only 2 c it get burried into obscurity....

  • I agree. BG needs to get rid of that coach and get some toughness

  • What Division?...Exactly...

  • Newell wanted to get opportunities to these athletes but they suffered from most BG players with a lack of esteem. Most of the players you mentioned were at best lower level division I NCAA players. If it wasnt for Newell and his discipline there would be no BG football. His only big mistake was allowing Easterbrook to coach robert Perez into the ground

  • Coach Newell shi-tted all over us and all the talent that came out of that great program. Never pushed hard enough to get colleges to look at some of the greats....Bear Barajas,Cazares, Ed Riffalato, Jr.Manarez, Jesse Raffanon, Rudy "Cougar" Ramirez, Francisco "Jr." Samano, Gus "The Bus" Soto and the list goes on and on. Fah-Q Newell for never giving us our college recruitment letters....Do your homework and take what I am saying as a lie!!!

  • BEST running back ever 4 SHUR Big BaM bAm!!!..ps. from ur Big Cuzzn Plac!!

  • I remember watching some of the best running backs n Bell Gardens History as a kid running from B.G.I. to the High School on Fridays. Cazares was definately the fastest, But Rudy "Cougar" Ramirez was the most fluid of the backs. But Pound 4 Pound the "Best RB n B.G. History strength, speed, recieving skills no doubt Francisco "Junior" Samano! Class of 94. Led team to finals n 93 and the only thing that stopped him that year was the rain. All time leader n yards, td's no disrespect to the others

  • @BGmostwanted The guy in this video is the all time leader in like 11 rushing categories so no disrespect but you're wrong. His senior season was something like 2,400 yards and 48 total td's he had like 3 or 4 300 yard rushing games thisdude was insane!

  • Another great back was Eddie Rifalato and Dennis Whittle. They had the nuts to go all the way but Doug Whittle threw too many pics when it counted

  • the 82-83 team with Cazares would have gone further but Robert Perez was a showboat and held onto the ball too long. what an egotist, great talent but too impulsive. Newell let Coach Easterbrook teach him all of the wrong ways of quarterbacking. Easterbrook was a joke

  • the 83-84 team that went to the championship game against Riverside Poly was in a cream puff league the Whitmont. They did ride Puentes alot

  • Cazares played for Evangel College in Springfield Missouri but then faded away. I think he was a security guard or something like that.

  • Billy Willard was the best Bell Gardens running back. He just played on poor teams

  • what ever happened to Darryl Cazares?

  • lowlow48 had it right. Marioa Puentes, #34 was and still is the man. The RB in this video (what is his name?) is good but #34 is still the measureing stick. Go Lancers.

  • I have 2 words for you MARIO PUENTES #34 that played on the 83 and 84 team. Claiming to be the best is a huge statement. You must do your research before you can claim it.

  • BAMBAM DOESNT SHIT ON BOBBY ANDRADE!

  • All the great running backs in this program came before 2002, back when the program was on the map, the recent years of the BG football program have been a disgrace.
