32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7

I just transferred my movie projects onto my external hard drive. They play on Windows 64 bit that's on my Gateway PC but on my Asus the Windows 7 is a 32 bit. The movie project won't play on Movie Maker that's on Windows 32 bit. Do I have to install the video codec for Windows 32 bit?

windows 32 is crap compared to 64, gaming is far better using 16gig of ram, no point in limiting your p.c to 3gig, ive had no problems what so ever, all the new javas and flash are fully 64bit and you get a 32bit one for good measure, roll on windows 8 :)

hi. i am having a problem listening to fm radio online - not all fm stations but some . i have made a 50 second video explaining what happens - something about a plug in and incompatible and 64 bits. i don't understand anything. could you look at my video please? this is a genuine plea. i am not trying to create traffic. i would be forever grateful

That will need a clean install. Insert the 32 bit disc. Boot from the disc, perform a format on the harddrive and then install the 32-bit version.

But why would you want to run a 32-bit if you can run a 64?

@ChainsawPhoenix if your motherboard won't support the 1600mhz ram then that might be your problem, if not then your not using more than 4gb of ram at once.

@darysmer If you have 8Gb with 32bit OS running, it will be able to use just 3Gb, it has limitation.

@07734world Yes it is, and I have Linux. It is a great OS, the only thing I have against it is that it doesn't use DirectX 11.

@07734world I'm not against Linux, I just wish it supported DX11. I'm a GCI animation artist, and you get to use more features with DX11. And it helps you render 3D objects with more detail.
