Susan, the first time I ever heard your name was when Joni signed up for an "Experiencing God" group that you and Denise were leading. That group was very meaningful to her and part of her foundation. Then I find out you know my mom from way back! Fast forward and years later we are attending the same church.

I so admire your boldness in the Lord and your knowledge of the Word. Thank you for the example your life has been to so many people over the years. I am glad God crossed our paths! Love ya, Cindy:)

Dear Susan,

I would like to thank you for being such a godly example for so many years. Your heart for God and His Word, your passion for holiness, and your faithfulness and perseverance in the midst of many trials and heartaches have been a shining light for your Savior and King. I am so blessed that I got to know you--first through WHY Outreach, then through you co-leading Experiencing God with Denise, and then throughout the years leading up to the joy of having you at Refuge.

You have been an inspiring leader when I was younger, and now a dear friend. I can say without hesitation that you are a woman worth looking up to, and I know that it is because you will always point others to Jesus. I hope that as you read this and what others have said to you and about you, you are blessed to know that God has been using you to touch many lives in a very special way. I'm glad to be a new part of Susan's life, having only been at Refuge CCB for a couple of years. I see a joyful lady who loves the Lord and His Word.

Since she's been teaching us "John" (Precepts) the Lord has brought her to my mind very often daily.I pray for her protection. Now more than ever in my life, I can not imagine life without her.Susan is SO much to SO many. It brings tears to my eyes every time I think of the myriad things she has allowed God to do through her.
