Hello, can you tell me the settler of this bike. The manual says to not pass the 500 miles of 4000 rpm. Is this true or just protocol?. I see that the tachometer is in km x hr., YOU CAN pass the miles or once shot is no longer possible? . Sorry for my English. I'm from Argentina.
@HugoVidela Hey Hugo. That is always a tough one to answer. The safest way would be to follow Kawasaki's instructions. But some say to rev it as much as you want. Just to keep the engine load and revs variable. Don't send too much time droning around at the same engine rev's. I don't know who is right.
Hey i notice when you downshift you rev the engine!! are you doing that to match the the rpm on the lower gear ? like heel and toe on a car? do you have to rev the engine every time you downshift on a motorcycle??
Yup. Trying to rev match on downshift. It's more important on a motorcycle than a car. If you let pull in the clutch and let the engine revs fall too much. Your rear wheel can lock up and skid for a moment. Not a good thing to have happen if you are setting up for a corner or mid corner. A 250cc engine like this klx or the ninja 250 doesn't have much engine braking due to the small displacement. You can ge away with sloppy downshift. On a bigger cc bike rev match becomes even more important.
Yeah. I'm not far from Wisc. The terrain is probably fairly similar. Since the Glaciers visited both locations during the ice age. Hahha.
That road is great for a dual sport or a supermoto. It's bumpier than it looks in the video. You almost never see sportbikes or sporty cars on it because of the bumps.
i ahve the same exaust for my crf 250 man r they loud.
