Looking at how your master plan turned out with the scrolls and considering my play style, I'd probably double up on scrolls during the Party Wagon level, but that's just me.

got to shredder and beat him many times, once got shrunk by his gun :D. The blue flying robots were a pain in the butt, especially that last corridor.

area 3 had a few jumps in the sewers where if you fell into that yellow lava you died, and those moving spiked walls insta killed if touched, was a bit like some of those jumps in double dragon 2.

area 4 was mostly annoyance with the spiky dudes that rolled around, sometimes took ages to kill without scrolls. technodrome was a fun fight.

My favorite glitch in this game is you get those 3- directional shurikens and fire it on the right side where shedder appears it should just stay there, and head to the right bottom corner go make a sandwich and watch shedder's stupid ass run right into it. LOL!!

it depends on the version- In the first movie he is a rat who evolves, and in the cartoon intro they show him as a mutating human. I dont know about the comic strip.

Ever notice in this battle, your turtle will always look like Ralph.with the Red headband. You had Don and he looked like Ralph. I just beat this game a few hours ago and use Leo and he was Red as well. lol Funny stuff. Sometimes there is a glitch that appears at Shredder, when you kill him, he doesn't die and he keeps firing his gun at you. You don't die either. Just some fun info for ya.

I played this game hundreds of times as a kid and couldn't get past the fifth level...this is the first time i've ever even seen the ending lol...great work!

Shredder is the easiest boss in the game.. It is even easier to kill him compared to the blue laser robots..

@demon7seven I agree. Shredder disappointed me when I was younger. I was looking forward to a challenging battle, but I beat him with 3-4 scrolls and it was a flawless victory.

This game sucked really bad...the controls were awful, and what you could do almost always lead to you getting hit multiple times, i mean a game where you can get hit by the same thing multiple times while you're still flashing just sucks. So you get to shredder and he's this easy? and then you get that crap ending that makes no sense...i mean was that the reporter b/c it didn't really look like her...this is just one big sack of b/s

I've played this game ever since it came out back in the day when i was a child and till this day i still can't beat it! No matter how hard this game is, it's still fun to play and it's a challenge. Especially bringing back memories.

I remember playing this when I was young. I used to Collect all the weapons by reentering the sewers. I think it went up to 99 (so I would purposely wasted 11 scrolls to get 99 after collecting 80). I also assigned each turtle their own secondary weapons. Man I spent a lot of time with these video games.

so many hours played this game since i was a little kid. pretty much what I enjoy are the levels, the turtles and music, and smashing the hell out of the enemies. The ending, meh, yeah its just another ingame video.

I'll admit this, along with Bugs Bunny's Birthday Blowout, are the only endings which pissed me off, though I didn't try to beat a game to see the ending. I played to have the knowledge that I beat the game; that and to get a nice high score in the process.

Nope... Shredder (Oroku Sagi) is the younger brother of Oroku Nagi. Splinter's master killed Nagi for the love of a woman. Sagi became Shredder and leader of the US Foot Clan.

I was 5 years old when I tried to beat this, and I kept dying in the same spot within the Technodrome. (There is a corridor somewhere in there where the floor is pretty much made of spikes, patrolled by the dinosaur-looking cyborgs). I always thought that I can get to Shredder by sacrificing all my Turtles due to walking over the spiked corridor!

You can still beat the game without the scrolls. But you will end up with all the turtles with one square in health by sacrificing them in the small corridors before shredder.

I can attest to that being true, more or less. The first time I beat the game was without the scroll weapons (I had run out by that point). I had to inch forward with Donatello, ducking and attacking downward, so I could barely make it to the boss. I still remember how that last blue bot almost cost me my endeavor, it took me so much offguard.

Shredder, on the other hand, I think *might* have killed me once, *maybe* twice over my many encounters with him.

yeah..... This guy can really play the SHIT out of this game. But I think the Irate gamer and the angry game nerd are right in everyway.

This game is so fucking frustrating. I could never make it pass the 3rd level.

And the monsters are horrible in my opinion and the jumps.. OMG sometimes they were supposed to be stepped across. I died several times from shit like that.

Im AMAZED. Purely Amazed someone Can beat it and say its a "fun" game.. I like the 2nd one whole lot better

For those of you confused about Splinter turning human, they're taking reference from the old cartoon. Splinter was Hamato Yoshi mutated as apposed to just being his pet mutated.

It's incredible how this game can be so flawed and STILL be fun as hell.

I've also beaten this game, but only after I was 28 and came up with a tecnique for using the scrolls.

I never knew scrolls would push Shredder away from you. I only knew to use Donatello's Bo. The only difference with the Bo vs. the Scrolls is that with the scrolls, you beat Shredder sooner.

With the Bo, it pushes Shredder away from you when he jumps up at you, but it only takes away one of his life bars at a time.

Great playing, man! This is still one of my favorite TMNT games today.

In the beginning of the Turtles Era Shredder (Oroki Saki) put ooze in the sewers to kill Splinter (Hamato Yoshi) but his pets got the ooze on their shells and became mutant turtles and splinter last contact was with a rat so he became one himself and trained his new giant friends and gave their names after artists from the renessains

the only part that makes the last level hard are those white enemies with the laser guns. especially when you get by shredder. i saw how you were ducking them and i am going to try it. i also saw how important it was to have that weapon you were using

It's in the second part of your speed run, there is missiles across from the ledge, and you can just walk across it without falling in the gap, you walked back and forth a few times. Took me forever to figure you don't need to jump across just simply walk across.

I like how you finished off the Shredder, I never thought of doing that! I usually fought him straight ahead and got the turtle to jump over his gunfire, if he had a chance to get a shot in.
