This is Brian Ambosini's 1972 Gremblin which run's in mid-lower 7 second range on quarter mile tracks like @ Great Lakes Dragaway & other tracks. Brian is also the many times over World Wheelstanding Champion in his other 1974 Gremblin which is showcased on TV and videos every year @ the Byron, IL World Wheelstanding Championships in October also.

That Gremlin runs a 401 AMC engine bored and stroked to 468 cu.in. with a 200 hp shot of nos. About 750 hp or so.

@Primer9 American Motors... Chrysler bought em out in the 80s and renamed them Eagle Motors. They were mainly famous for their ugly little cars like the Gremlin and the Pacer, but they had some pretty cool looking ones as well like the Javelin and the AMX.

Chrysler GM and Ford aren't the only American car companies... people forget about companies like AMC and International.

@ipwnallnoobz Red Victor 1 is the fastest street legal car... It costed about 150000$ to get it run about 7 seconds. And that's a cheap build. You're saying that a 7 second car was easy to build and set up? Bullshit. Anyways, this Gremlin is cool. Cause even if there was a 3 second car, this would still be fast, and it would still be beautiful.

@Machone7O i can make a supra run 7's for:

7-20k for car depending on area

5k for built motor (3.4l single turbo over 1100hp)

like 1k in other stuff to make it legal

(i can work on cars so the work is on me, BUT if u can wrench add another id say 10k for labor)

and then tune for a few hundred or a driver (for free) that can handle the car

almost forgot the tires 500 ea.

and suspension .... ? 2k ?

20k-50k and you can have yourself a hell of a car

@INSERTNAMEjoe Well, a supra is a hell of a car, alone, i have to recognise. Pathetic 290hp, but with basic tools you can get it well over 300 hp, being bone stock. Still, the 150k budget of Red Victor 1 it's not the big V8, the turbos, the nitrous etc, its money spent by modifying it in over 20 years time. first a V6, then Rover v8... Watch the video, you'll see the actual red victor 1 costed less than the whole money spent on the car.
