  • OMG they are such a adorable friends!! :D

  • @samware89 Their pupils will dialate just as much for any number of reasons.. wanting loving for one. Yeah the greys hate their "space" being invaded and will bite or "nibblebite" or just clamp, not biting just clamping, on your finger. They use their beaks to communicate so much of their reaction. You can gauge their degree of comfort by using those three levels of biting Most is triggered by space invasion. How would any of us like someone 100s times bigger sticking their hands in your house?

  • Aww you really have some cute birds there , how old are they both?

Nice video I really enjoyd it:)

  • i miss my african gray. some how a spider got to him and he died.

  • Awwww! Sharing! I didn't know parrots shared like that! Very silly.

  • Charlie knows how to share ^_^

So cute both of them :)

  • lol thats soo cute i never seen a parrot do that before grate video

  • just pick up the damn ones from the table that the white one dropped!! xD

  • had an umbrella cockatoo named George. Had him about 12 years before he got an immune disorder similar to AIDS. He eventually died. It was very sad. What you said about their needing attention is SO true. We couldn't watch movies, because George knew we were paying attention to the TV and not him. He would sit on the perch & when we'd walk by, he'd grab our shirt or hair with his beak or hand & he'd pull us back over to him and then raise his wings for a hug. He loved to hug. Beautiful birds.

  • My boyfriend and I do this all the time

  • Well at least they are sharing! My bird even though he's 14 years old has been stuck in his terrible 2's....no sharing there! :-P

He only shares when regurgitating....and I kindly REFUSE! -.-

  • How precious! Two of my favorite brids right there

  • Soooo cute :)

  • if my african grey and cockatoo were this close to together we would need a ambulance to the vet.

  • Cat de bine se inteleg.Sa iti traiasca.

  • very beautiful birds

  • Can I haz cookie?

    Yes, U can haz cookie!

  • Awww that's so cute!!!

  • how the hell could bird be that big?

  • EAT IT. EAT THE COOKIE!!!!!!!!

  • aww

  • I like how different species of birds share more readily with one another than humans, who are the same species as one another. Kind of a sad commentary on us, i'nt it? ;)

  • Do these birds naturally dislike the taste of things which are dangerous for them to eat?

  • This video is cute.

  • WHAT? I always thought African Grey is bigger than cockatoo!

  • @KeijoKeripukki haha Cockatoos are surprisingly big birds - something I didn't realize for a long time because I never owned one and so never directly compared it to other species...but then again, Greys are only medium sized parrots. They look bigger than they are, I guess.

  • Just curious, what species of bird is Charley?

  • lol shes got her mouth full!

  • i wish my birds got along like them. my big and little birds always fights

  • ahahahah, you want the cookie? HAVE THE COOKIE

  • Are they both girls?

  • Haha well done, nice video, lovely birds

  • Miss Match Couple

  • the african grey is like hey fuckoff

  • Kirby looks a tad scared sometimes, pupil dilate a lot and he cowers... just saying

  • @samware89 Kirby is not typically scared of Charley. She is more aggravated by the intrusion than anything. There is very little that scares Kirby...and if she doesn't like something, she flies off (she is fully flighted). That rarely happens. Mostly, she is just annoyed. But thanks for the comment. The pupils DO tell a big story. Very good point. Each bird is unique, so knowing your bird and their indicators is really important!

  • @mygirlcharley : Would these sorts of birds ever actually seriously fight in a way that one could be badly injured or killed?

  • EAT IT!!!!!

  • Charlie is soooooooooo clever

  • Sugar Can Kill Parrots cant it??? I got an african grey and he cant eat chocolate or sygar or it will kill her

  • @TheKate123sbf Sugar isn't good for parrots, but it won't kill them. Chocolate, on the other hand, is bad. As is avocado. Apple seeds. Alcohol (of course). When cooking for the birds, in lieu of sugar and oil, I use organic applesauce. It's a nice, healthy alternative!

  • @mygirlcharley Why do you think it is chocolate kills some animals, the sugar.

A cookie between two birds is like us eating 3 4 kilo ice creams.

  • @TheKate123sbf ive got a sengal parrot and he LOVES sweet things and ive had him for 10 years and loves mac and chesse, mcdonals frinch fries and eggs

  • i have the same bird as charley is his name is sunumi

  • How hard are they to look after?

  • @crazieclown21 You would be surprised. They are definitely not ones that you would stick in a cage and just "let be". They need attention and good food and interaction and stimulation. Otherwise, they become bored and scream and pluck and neurotic! Parrots are hard. If you are considering but aren't sure, FOSTER so you can get a feel. Do it for more than 60 days - and if you still love them, go for it! It takes a particular kind of person, that's for sure!!!

  • @mygirlcharley Thanks for the the good advice

  • Sorry for not replying to all the comments (yeah...even the negative ones!)

Okay - Charley is a moluccan cockatoo and Kirby is a congo Africa grey. Both are females. Both are only able to be around each other when supervised. Both have HUGE attitudes. Both think they are QUEEN.

  • If anyone asked me what I thought about having a cockatoo for a pet, I would say RUN!!!! They are definitely not for the faint of heart. If you can't read very well, a 'too isn't for you. That's because closed captioning on your television is almost required. They are loud - even when they're good girls and not too noisy. They are needy and clingy and demanding. Even if you raise them right and don't spoil them. It's their nature.

  • And...it's really sad because so many people get caught up in their sweet, deep, yearning eyes. They draw you in. They totally do!!! But if you are going to get a cockatoo, get one from a rescue. There are SOOOOOO many that have been given up for adoption. It's sad.

  • i honestly didnt know that many people didnt know or ever hear of a cockatoo....makes me sad..they are such majestic amazing birds

  • ok to answer evryones questions the white bird is an umbrella cockatoo and the other is an african grey parrot...btw i love the birds..iv had many...and im getting a umbrella cockatoo named kiki im so excited..it is amazing to have a bird:)

  • They're soo sweet and adorable!!!!!!!!

  • OMG MY BIRD'S NAME IS CHARLIE!!!!!!! He's a cockatoo.. he thinks he's a cat.

  • what kind of parrot is the White one(Charlie)? The other one is an African grey parrot, right?

  • It appears they get along well, at least in this short video. Very cute video.

  • shame the are (slave - toys) of people

  • How cute

  • am i the only one who things the white bird looks like it has no type of soul just...action

  • @HollisterManny Cockatoos move like that, as do many bigger birds, unless they're pissed or playful, but these two are concentrating on their cookies and even if they're having fun they can't jump around while eating, anyone would choke if they did that... Except maybe kangaroos... but these aren't kangaroos.

  • Charlie bit me and that really hurt :D

  • cockatoo feedin' an African Grey, really cute!!!

  • really nice!!they are both so cute!!!

  • the white bird beautiful what kind is that

  • @mrspotato20 Cockatoo

  • @DevinZ16 i didn't know Cockatoos can get this size all Cockatoos i've seen are much smaller than this one what type of Cockatoo is that

  • @mrspotato20 thats an umbrella

  • @mrspotato20 Charley is a moluccan. Females are smaller than the males - and she's about 770 grams.

  • aw! haha :D

  • OMG!!! Your babies are just Too Cute!!! As a birdy person for 30 plus years now, even I know that it is all by chance usually when two birds get along so well. Different species can be difficult to pair up as friends but sometimes the combo just works as it does here with your Grey and Cockatoo!! This is just Too Funny!! I love it!! Great video!! :)

  • aw so cute lol that cockatoo witll make a good mommy or daddy.

  • i want a bird but my cat would eat it :(

  • I wish my birds got allong like that , whenever I try and puut them together , they try &' kill eachother. -.-

  • Too cute !!!

  • Owner: Charlie she's got her mouth full.

Charlie: Okay......*grabs another cookie* Cookie? :)

  • i had a bird about as big as the white one he was named Chico it attacked me dislodged my wrist my mom made me put him down. :( they are nice most of the time but dont piss them off cause they are more powerfull then you would think.

  • @RATking0134 This post made me so sad to read. I urge anyone that has an aggressive (or perceived aggressive) parrot to PLEASE rehome it with a rescue or find a solution other than euthanasia. Most parrots (my four included) typically do not bite unless I give them a reason. I can pretty much say that any injury I've received is because I deserved it. Parrots are very sensitive. A baseball hat will send one of my birds off the deep end. It's not their fault!

  • @RATking0134 You should never have been allowed to have a bird in the first place, you're clearly not fit to be a parrot owner.

  • @RATking0134 I DID NOT ABUSE IT

  • cute :D

  • Wowwww that is one BIGG bid!!! O.O

  • yeaaaaaa dr hook

  • I wish our Grey & UToo would get along like that! Ours barely tolerate each other....

  • look at those claws!

  • Thumbs up if you were expecting him to say you WILL eat the cookie!

  • He's all like:"TAKE THE DAMNED COOKIE!" XD

  • I am very very pretty!!!!!!!!

  • Charlie's huge lol

  • Sharing is caring :D

  • lol

  • I couldn't stop laughing. That was the cutest thing ever. XD

  • I was cracking up the whole time watching this video, they are so hilarious. hahahahaha!!!!!! XD

  • They are so sweet together. How did you get them to become friends? I think my grey would be intimidated by a cockatoo's size.

  • @jackietkm1 For the record, the grey is more of the boss than the too! My too is pretty askeered of the grey when she's in a pissy mood. I actually feel more comfortable that way!

  • that is way too cute.. congratz on having such beautiful birds :)

  • 0:56 " i will choke you if you dont eat the fu****g cookie " lol awesome birds btw.

Am I the only one who thought this?

  • Fine mom, I'll share, here's the cookie, now eat it. I said eat it. In the most adorable way!

  • That's so cute! I like how Charlie is trying to force feed her the cookie Haha,

  • that cookie looks a little like poop

  • so sweeeeeeet

  • How did I get here?!!! I'm supposed to be studying!

  • @CMA212 Me too D:

  • @CMA212 Sooo, how did it go?

  • so Heartwarming!

  • That's so cool, my cockatiel won't eat anything but parakeet seeds.

  • @MultiTHUMPER2 That’s really not good for your birds health, you should try to get it to get fresh fruit and veg. (It can increase their life span)

  • @XxXMidnightblackXxX Thank You for your reply. I've tried all kinds of food, whoever owned her/him before must have not given it much choice. It isn't friendly either. I found it on a fence. I've had her for about a year.

  • When your birds start saying "Gadzooks!", be sure to get that video uploaded...

  • I love how the bird with the cookie uses his foot so well its just like a hand in human terms. I wish I was a better bird trainer I have a parakeet and that bird detests me. I suppose my bird is like a pet fish you feed it but it doesn't do much.

  • So they don't talk with their mouth full

  • so funny!!

  • Wish my boys could share like this! Cockatoos & greys make great pairs! So sweet. I foster w/EBR rescue & we'r tryin 2 raise enough 2 get life-saving surgery for a sick Jenday, Norbert. He's had a hard life. For more info, 2 read his story, or 2 donate (tax-deductible thru non-profit shelter via paypal), g2 rescuebird*dot*com. Please spread the word & post link on ur FB or wherev cuz we NEED 2 get word out 2 bird-lovers everywhr! Ima show this to my boys so they can learn 2 share too! Lol =)

  • shes\hes like eat the cookie or DIE!!!!!!!!!!

  • xDD

  • Haha that is too cuuuute!!! "EAT THE COOKIE KIRBY.. EAT IT!!!"

  • wait the parrots called charlie? how come shes not biting feathers?

  • is it really nessasey for birds to eat cookies?

  • @1000Sushihead no it is not. but they do enjoy a nice snack every once and awhile. i would not recommend this as an all the time thing. But birds enjoy it, and know, hey i was a good birdie, yay i get a treat.

  • @1000Sushihead Not necessary, but the cookies were made by me with a bunch of healthy stuff in them - so it's actually healthy for them. This wasn't a store bought cookie with a ton of sugar. It's my way of getting them to each their veggies - all hidden, though!

  • Jesus! A Magladon Cockatoo!

  • So cute! :-)

  • My African Grey drops the peanuts I give him on the floor. Then he picks them up 2 minutes later!!!!
