I only saw A Single Man by accident when it was on once late at night, then, I was thrilled to hear he was in The Kings Speech, only to watch it become best picture. I may have to go check out some of his older films when I get around to it... I really can't get over how much he makes you connect with his characters (even only having seen two of them lol).

He speaks Italian, and also quite well, and the first time I heard one of his Italian interviews he said the most intelligent things that I never ever heard coming out of people's mouths, not even the politician's. I was shocked when he started talking about "ethics" and he explained his ideas and his concept so well and yet so briefly I was totally baffled. Then I saw "The King's Speech" and I understood I'm dealing with a master. He truly is an elegant, intelligent and mature man, so grounded.
