  • I love this routine way more than her 2007-2008 one

  • Her best 3.5.

  • Nice, but she never seemed to be able to get her back leg pointed square to the corner on her twists did she. The front foot is square, but the back leg always seemed to be at 90 degrees.

  • seems like shes undertwisting these passes out of habit, if she can do a 3.5 easily she should make around a 3 fine, regardless if shes tired by the end of the routine, she's great

  • @mgl71594

yeah basically all 3 passes were not all the way round

  • god, i just love how she does her choreography.

  • love it!!

  • @xolemonlime2 i know right

  • she always has such great choreo

  • STUPID STUPID ANKLE INJURY.

  • @xolemonlime2

Even without the injury once NL hit puberty she'd never be able to keep the 3.5. Her triple wouldn't have been nice either.

  • beautiful :) do u know wat her score was?

  • That was a triple turn attempt, she really only got around 2.5 and scooted around to get into her jump tucked double.

  • yeah but it wasn't so much that her body didnt get all the way around, it was more her foot. when she sets up for the turn you can see her foot is turned out, making that the starting point of the turn. she also cheated her split leap 1 & 1/2. but she fixed them both by the time worlds started.

  • A randi, front 2.5 twist

  • @QuittersTry

there was a randi in it and there was a 3 1/2 twisting layout

  • I actually really like this routine. I think she should have increased for difficulty for her floor routines now by doing 3.5 twists and triple turns

  • She couldn't even get a triple around post ankle injury so I don't think a 3.5 is viable anymore...I do like the triple turn though.

  • not true. she did get her trple around most of the time. she just slowed it down to control it. i use that technique.

  • she said she couldn't get it around post ankle injury, not before

and in 2006 she wasn't rotating it all the way at the end of her routines and eventually did away with it because she had nowhere else to put it

  • are you actually allowed to have that mat there when competing?

  • You are alowed to have the mat there, but you get deducted.. I'm not shure what the deduction is though..? (In some lower levels of competition, judges may permit "sting mats"--mats that lessen impact--to be used for tumbling runs. However, these are never allowed in international contests such as the Olympics or World Championships, and, most of the time, are not seen in national elite competitions either-->from wikipedia)...

  • oh, thanks.

  • I know if the JO program you can use a sting mat if it a D or higher skill.
