Why are you people talking badly about cycalists? I love seeing them, and yes, they cn get in your lane (I live in portland too, so I get it just as much) but it's because of them partialy that Oregon isn't known as a Fat State. Not only that, but they help the enviornment way way WAY more then anbody in a car.
Keep Portland weird is a lil overused but Portland is weird compared to many cities indeed. I just think they make it look like 70%-80% of the city is weird when its 30% in reality.
Too many people know Portland is a great place and may eventually be overcrowded like SF or Seattle. Seattle now is horribly overrated and L.A cant even come into the same sentence when comparing to Portland.
I loved the city, however theres other variables preventing me from moving there more than likely.
not any time soon, with the economy the way it is, no one's gonna be moving for a long while. Also, portland has a lot more space than seattle does. we got a huge valley and all the suburbs. Portland is fit better for it
I think things can pick up and when they do, I see more floods of people coming in. Theres quite a few transplants there now, wait till it gets better then I think it will get more crowded for housing. If you thought I meant traffic on the sidewalks or on the city roads, thats pretty damn mild but it seems housing and appts are on a high competition scale.
Whats up with some of the bikers tho? They have potential to attack drivers on a regular basis.
I yelled at one out the window and someone who was in the car with me said, they will attack you you have no idea and I was kinda taking it lightly and then I saw it on youtube videos lol.
The cyclist concept is cool how they dont like to drive and shit and walking is encouraged but if it breeds more mentally ill people, then its not so good but I dunno, I liked it there despite some of the mentally ill bums or cyclists that might have existed. I like the fact more people out that way are thin and healthy looking. For real.
If I am comparing Portland with Seattle, I cant say Portlands freeze is as bad but there still is one and some of the super friendly ppl are from cali.
yea the people in portland can be a real pain at times. I just hate how if you aren't liberal, in their eyes you are a piece of crap. I'm republican, but i don't care if they are liberal i respect their opinion and they have the right to think differently. apparently i don't
Yea I noticed that. Im glad I didnt have direct encounters with those PC idiots there.
I did one time where I live tho and it was a girl from Seattle who got real offended at what I said because I talked about black n mild cigars and how people of color can be drawn to smoke em, she got mad and her friend sitting next to her was black but she was getting more angry than her black friend.
Before that happened anyhow, I was telling her how I find PC people offensive. She loved to argue for sure.
yea, i love how half the people don't give a crap about anything you say and the others get everything banned because they get offended over everything, when I encounter those people, i just tell them to shut up and stop bitching. also, PC idiots? like, computer pc?
yea, I'm like that, i don't care i'm just laid back and like to goof off. Like when i'm working i believe you can goof off and still get work done. I hate uptight people
Those uptight people are the reasons people can hate their jobs I find. Its always cool if you can joke around while doing your job and it can be done.
haha, yea I'm a head guard at mt. scott community center. Go to my page and look up Mt. Scott in the search thing on my channel and you'll see what we do when we work. hahaha
Walking instead of driving is not the cause of mental illness. The severely mentally ill are usually unable to work and are wouldn't be to afford to drive a car anyways. The mentally ill exist in almost every city.

Id say around 65 ish actually but it isnt low like I initially said haha.
Portland is a great place but I think its getting overrated real quick and too crowded.
Im gonna shoot for Boston since its been established for a bit and wont end up costing much more to live since Portlands going up big.
VileRiley 3 years ago
oh hell no it's not over rated. now california is over rated. it is not over crowded either, check out seattle or la

Yea it seems like half of Portland still doesnt give a shit and the other half does.
I seen some people there who just dont give their time to any bullshit and I guess I was lucky I saw more of those than others who werent like that.
PC = Politically correct.
