That's not even remotely true, The price of gas always drops when local drilling is mentioned by someone in power. Bush tried to pass a bill a while back and they went down drastically for a few months. Now with the debates going on the talk of drilling here was discussed more than it has on TV in decades, and the very next day the prices dropped drastically.

Why do you care about how much a company makes but make no mention that the US Treasury takes in more money, more than TWICE, what the oil comapnies make.

I've been living in the UK all my life I dont care how many friends you have here.
