He is really quite awful at this game. The battle with Fist, even on the insanity difficulty, should take maybe two minutes at the absolute most. I don't think I've ever died fighting him before.
This "battle" really is ridiculously easy; the first time I played it, my teammates would not come through the door, so I had to fight him on my own. I was an Infiltrator and I thought that it was unbelievably easy; he is though just demonstrating it to others so he probably is "dumming" it down for them though I am not sure. I just beat the game for the fifth time on insane as a soldier level 60 and it was ridiculously fun to see all my upgrades put into effect.
What a noob. Put your friendlies on the turrets, keep Fist in cover, drop the turrets, and then rush Fist. You can't hit him in cover. so stop shooting at him and wounding yourself. You just let your friendlies die mindlessly.

He should've thrown one 'Nade at each of the Turrets, and that would've taken care of them, then he could've concentrated the Squad's fire on 'Fist' without taking damage from the turrets.

Looks like a great game, but I'm not really fond of the action. The RPG elements are fantastic, but the shooting looks pretty generic and there seems to be too much pausing to use the power ring menu or whatever it's called. This might hinder a streamlined action experience. Otherwise the game seems promising. I hope it comes out on PC.

I'm pretty sure that this is a relatively simple example of how the charm/intimidate element works. In KOTOR and JE you could use different social skills at different times in different scenarios and different ways, and many times you could use all of them on a single event. And I don't see how you could be following Mass Effect and not know that it's supposed to be basically a new and improved version of KOTOR.
It's definitely not the same. Yeah both choices result in the guys leaving, but that is the point of charm/intimidate. The dialogue was different for the two options though.

If you loved KOTOR with a passion like me, and couldnt let it go...seriously I played some 15hr gaming sessions with KOTOR, Mass Effect is looking like some more pure gaming addiction from the masters at Bioware! O I cannot wait!

I'm pretty sure that this is a relatively simple example of how the charm/intimidate element works. In KOTOR and JE you could use different social skills at different times in different scenarios and different ways, and many times you could use all of them on a single event. And I don't see how you could be following Mass Effect and not know that it's supposed to be basically a new and improved version of KOTOR.

It's definitely not the same. Yeah both choices result in the guys leaving, but that is the point of charm/intimidate. The dialogue was different for the two options though.

I like how if you threaten or charm, the outcome and responses are EXACTLY the same from the enemies. Even the narrator laughed at how silly it is! I'm questioning my preorder after seeing this is way too much like Star Wars: KOTR

Even if it plays a lot like KotOR, it looks a lot better and has a better conversation system.
