@prettycheergirl It is true though, there are tones of addresses of people online, You can search public records of people! Even criminal records! I searched for my house address the other day but you had to sign in and be a member to see it, I think its distgusting that its not against the law.
If i put my full name on there I can not be found because I live with my mom and her name is different from mine b/c my parents got divorced and she went back to her maiden name.
cant pedos like use the pics that r posted to fake them and pretend that they r them. then isnt that wen trouble starts? and also like on the vid, the ppl no who that girl is so any random person culd cum up to u and say "oh hi rnt u (blah blah blah) ?"
Either way I'm not allowed to post pics of myself, and my point was people cant find me because there r probably about 200 13 yr old girls named Ashley in the US. Even if there were 5 13 yr old girls in the us named Ashley, i still cant be found
i understand ur point, but still sum1 knowing ur personal details can be quite imtimidating, think about it; an old 50 year old man looking on ur bebo and viewing all ur pics, thats sickinin, even though its not illegal for a 50 yr old man to look at ur pics, its still quite annoying knowing that they actually have access to it. and can see it.
yeah know what u mean, i agree, its nice that people can see u singing and all but just really risky. what happens if sum1 who sees u online sees u in rl? will they come up to u and start talking a load of rubbish, or worse?
id be careful, i wnt to show my online friends that im who i say i am, but its dodgy still. cos they posted them selves, but my mum wnt allow it, so just like editing so the face aint visible but just the hair is okay i suppose
But really that isnt fair to the friends i have that r real ppl, not sexual predators.
Like honestly, if as many ppl get solicited as they say they do, then think of the number of REAL PEOPLE that there r on the internet. I'm not scared at all
theres good and theres bad people in life, unfortuantely im more aware of the bad people. you gotta be careful nowadays, i know what ur saying, but you always gotta be cautios (howevr u splel it lol). unfortuantely the news release more and more bad stuff that gets reported, so in reality, its hard to believe that good news that goes on.
this comes back to the trick question "is a glass half full, or half empty?" you never know..
you always got to be careful on the internet though, im not saying you shuldnt go on the internet, but im saying u shuldnt post identifiable pics of urself on the internet, cos anyone can see them.
yeah i see the humour in them too, unfortunately people take the humour too seriously and begin to think that the videos are fake or just as you say - exaggerating- . its good that ur careful, but the number of incidents that have happened online due to carelessness is phenomenal (big word lol =P).
im not saying ur being careless, just delivering a message to the public out there that are thinking of publishing photos of themselves that could be used as attacks by pedos.
everyone should be aware of what they're putting in the internet..

As parents, we all want to protect our children when they go online.
Thanks to advances in technology this is getting harder and harder to
do. Internet predators are getting smarter and so are children. When
you buy parental security software, you have to update it on a regular
basis and monitor new websites to ensure nothing gets past the
program. Thanks to SnipeSlider, it no longer has to be this way. This
handy program works (and continues to work) as a key to the Internet. Snipeslider, com

omg they should close down that site!
1912xTitanicx1912 3 years ago
No they shouldnt.
Myspace and facebook can be safe if you use them correctly
gorickyullman 2 years ago
point taken.
but whats the point in having a website where you can find anyone who you want?
1912xTitanicx1912 2 years ago
I wanna have a myspace. Its fun to express urself as long as you dont go too far.
gorickyullman 2 years ago
yeah like posting pics of urself,
like its okay wen ur an adult (like 30 or 40 or summat)
but like my age (teens)
then thats dodgy
1912xTitanicx1912 2 years ago
Oh pictures arent too too bad as long as u arent like "This is what i look like boys find me"
One pic to show ppl what u look like isnt bad at all
gorickyullman 2 years ago

1912xTitanicx1912 2 years ago
Hmm i would actually be quite flattered if that happened 2 me. As long as its a normal pic and not too embarrassing i dont care
gorickyullman 2 years ago
flattered? =/
what an old man using your photo to get closer to hurting yunger kids?
i think flattered is kindah the wrong word..
more of like disgusted

Well its a risk that you take on the internet.
I want to post videos of myself singing so people can see me. If someone likes me, 13 or 43, i dont care. As long as they like me its okay.
But in a way with the bebo thing it is a little creepy, but as i said before, its a risk that people take on myspace and bebo

But good things DO happen on the internet tho!
What about Marie Digby? She got herself a record deal and a HIT SINGLE on the internet.
Good things do happen, no matter what the news say
