ive been on a road trip in 2009 around the west of the united states and i watched my first baseball game in san diego (against the colorado rockies)

well, the padres lost 1-4 or so but it was alot of fun!

i like this game a lot managing the white soxs is fun since C C Sabathia was a free agent i singed his for 30 Mill and now im 3 games ahead in first followed by the indians

I just bought this game used at Blockbuster for 3.99. Yet to play it, but I love baseball and managing. My major is sport management, so I figure this gives me good practice as far as running an organization.

Even if it ends up sucking, can I really complain for 4 bucks?

Haha yeah dickwad, if University of Georgia is a community college, then yeah, I guess I do.

Obviously there is a lot this game doesn't cover, and the player ratings and salaries are whack, but it still educates you on things like arbitration, the rule 5 draft, and so on and so forth.

I guarantee you I already know more about running a pro (or college) sports organization than you ever will, and none of it thanks to this game.

That comment was also before I popped the game in and played it. No three team trades, horrible user interface, arbitration process is a joke, yeah this game blows.

lol...every foul is the same...that might get annoying...qouldnt surprise me that the in game stuff wouldnt be that great....but all the statistical stuff and everything else you can do it cool...if you into deep stats and all that

I was so pumped for this game...

I was pissed when I got it and it was a piece of crap...I'd give it a 2 out of 5 stars!
