hi i read that the xs works almost like an arranger where it can recognize chords on the left hand. does it mean u can set the (left/right) split point ?
yes - to be honest, almost anything you can think of you can do on the motif - the amount of editing controls are mind blowing - so much so that I've barely scratched the surface with mine. Watch one of my latest vids called strumming guitars if you can. On this patch it recognizes chords, the left split has 2 separate guitar arps and the right split has annother 2 separate arps and you can switch any of these on and off or change anything you like with a bit of fiddling !
definitely definitely the motif - i still get excited switching it on 3 months after buying it and there are buttons on it that i have yet to press - the sound once you hook it up through good stereo speakers is awesome, and there are so many preset sounds and effects it hurts, all of great quality.
I prefer the Motif XS. The Fantom G series are good, but more for trance and things like that. The Motif XS got everything inside. It's just great. I'm gonna buy a Motif XS6. A friend of mine has got 1. Im really excited :P

Would you recommend the Motif XS? Unsure about whether to get the XS or Fantom G.
