great teamwork you 2 kept the streak alive for a good while.having a good pilot makes a difference and a good gunner helps,unlike a random idiot that hops in a vehicle and overheats the guns by shooting at nothing then when enemies appear they have to wait to fire.tip for gunners use v-rload,ur guns reload hella lot fatster and comes in handy when facing other choppers or runners on the ground.pilot should use v-warhd dynamic mix.

i did not know gunner can fire the tracer at all. i always use v-armor when i'm in the gunner seat instead. will try this out soon. :)

@FrankW1029 honestly, id keep the varmor on unless you kno the pilot is good. My gunners use armor or warheads while i used smoke. locked on rockets are the biggest threat nowadays to me. I dont fly as fast as i should

@weaponzexpert95 I'm on PS3. In BFBC1, the way to switch back to your gun after repair was to hit R2. I repaired SO many times in BC1 that it just became second nature. I don't do it anymore though.

I think the weapons are LIKE mw2, like those 30mm are like the small cannon shots from the AC130, and the main machine guns are in mw2, not saying to play mw2 because of that I just wanted to point that out that it may be copied. But they made the copy better :D

@gamecritic7 lol i agree. And the 30mm are similar to the AC-130 because theyre almost the same thing. The AC-130 can shoot a few 40mm shells, while the apache can shoot a few more, because the rounds are smaller.

yeh i dont know man, the gun on an apache is a 30mm gun, it is what it is, its been that way sine bf1942 desert combat mod which is way way way before mw2.

Another trick is when you get out of a battle, the 30mm fires in 24 round bursts, so instead of shooting off your last few rounds so when you do a strafe you have full ammo, you can use the reload button to reload instead of shooting the rest of the shots.

No, the tracer fire button is RB on the xbox 360, I presume that would be R1 on the PS3. It fires seperately from the 30mm cannon.
