Jesus did deal with sexualilty when He dealt with marriage. Read Matthew 19:4-6. In the the text Jesus was responding to a question about divorce and not one time in the text did Jesus mention same sex relationships, in the beginning He made them male and female...in verse 6 its says "so then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate". He wasn't talking about the right person but He was speaking of male and female relationship.

Jesus did deal with sexualilty when He dealt with marriage. Read Matthew 19:4-6. In the the text Jesus was responding to a question about divorce and not one time in the text did Jesus mention same sex relationships, in the beginning He made them male and female...in verse 6 its says "so then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate". He wasn't talking about the right person but He was speaking of male and female relationship.

Obviously, the men who wrote, edited and translated the Bible were 100%wrong in their anti-gay stance, as God is the one who creates homosexuals in the first place. When in doubt over who is right, men or God, it's better to go with the Lord and accept homosexuality the way He wants us to.

Lildonleeydaprodigy, agreeing with the ideas put forth by human, fallible men, when their thoughts contradict the Lord's obvious will and creations, means you are rejecting the Lord's truth in favor of man's misinterpretations. Acknowledging the Bible authors' mistakes in favor of God's truth is the only way to succeed in accepting Him as the ultimate teacher and judge. When in doubt, it's always better to choose God's wisdom over man's contentions. The Lord is always right! :)

Lild, if I accepted your contentions, it would mean that the men who wrote the Bible were correct, and God & His creations were wrong. Men used the Bible & their religion to claim that the world was flat, that the sun revolved around the earth, that black people were designed to be slaves, that women were inferior to men & shouldn't try to teach them, etc. Obviously, all of this is wrong, just like their misinterpretation of gays being "sinful" is wrong. God does not make mistakes, only men do.

Lild, no one has to "put up an argument" for gays, any more than they have to argue that blacks, women, left-handed people, or any other minority groups are fully equal human beings designed by God, worthy of all the same rights and privileges. Would you ask me to put up an argument as to why black people should, say, be allowed to get married, or "prove" that they are created by God just like everybody else? Remember, white Christians once forbid blacks many rights on "religious" grounds, too.

Lil, yes, those who cannot cope with the fact that the Bible contains misinformation or misinterpretations do get quite upset, and are quick to criticize anyone who points out the truth. Independent thought scares them, I understand. Sure, the Bible writers may detest gay people, but the Lord does not, any more than He detests black people, although Christians have also gotten that misinformation from scripture. As for a man leaving His parents and marrying a wife, that edict is for str8 men.
