Pefect! I must have watched these 3 episodes 50 times at least. I even love the english dubbing because you can tell that those voice actors had the best time ever!
Wow it's getting old now...but I will never forget this!
With the Rory Mcfarlain sound track, this is even to this day one of the best Manga's ever released. Everything about this was class A when it came out and puts to shame the bulk of what is released today.
I mean, exactly it. That ending wasn't good enough, You don't know if they really were guilty, or just somehow framed. Just three episodes and that's it. Just like that
of course he's not dead! Gogul just clocked him over the head with that truncheon to knock him out.. But what I don't get is that, was Sengoku supposed to be at first an anti-hero but then when file 3 comes out, he's supposed to be the bad guy?
hmmm, that's right I forgot about that just now. But supposibly, Hasegawa disabled Sengoku's clock. As soon as he heard the news of Benten's completed job
That's the one thing I didn't like about part 3. the storyline kind of felt unresolved in parts. On top of that, there's the way in which Sengoku is drawn in some scenes, and the the way his voice seems to change in the dubbed version.
Correct me if I'm wrong, are all the criminals given a certain amount of time to complete a mission together?
It seems that way, it was like that in the first episode, Hasegawa could choose to detonate their collars individually or all at once.
If you ask me, these OVAs kick the shit out of Cowboy Beebop and Ghost In The Shell. Ghost in the shell is too stuck up, and Cowboy Beebop is just too popular,
I mean c'mon, Gogul, that has cybernetic goggles for eyes, taking on a walking killing machine? And then using his bare fists to finish it off? That my friend, is original!
The only problem I had with G.I.T.S (in particular, Stand Alone Complex) is that it just dragged on, and, and on.....but 2nd Gig wasn't so bad in this respect.
I quite like Cowboy Bebop. It certainly isn't your average anime series. Eastern/Western cultural influences abound in Cowboy Bebop. Just a shame the series was ludicrously overplayed in my opinion.
Personally, I think Sengoku is "the man". Everything this guy says just cracks me up. Gogul comes a very, very close second to Sengoku.
I saw cyber city for the first time when I was about 11, that was ages ago and I like it even more now than i did then. Awsome tune. Does anyone know where I could buy, download it the music?
And this tune is so sad too. :'(

both endings are great! the best and perfect cyberpunk ever, Yoshiaki Kawajiri made a horrible mistake in abandoning the outcome of this!

What do you mean when you said he abandoned the outcome of this?

One thing I found disappointing was that we never got to see whether or not Sengoku died at the end of file 3.

If I remember correctly, Hasegawa gave Sengoku a certain amount of time to stop Benten when he became emotionally involved with Remi Musada.
