Takane demonstrates more seriousness (since she doesn't smile), confidence, and elegance (with one hand on her hip and one hand placed lightly below her shoulder, she stands up straight, and body is not entirely facing toward you which makes it appear as if she's posing.) Takane is also strong, elegant, mysterious, confident, and well put together. While Miki is nice, seems naive, and acts flirtatous. Takane is also noticeably taller than Miki.
I disagree, despite both of them have long hair (not even the same length) Miki and Takane's hair styles are completely different in hair texture, style, color, and thickness. Their hair doesn't even move the same. As for their body language, in the game Miki and Takanes typical pose is different. Miki appears more friendly and relaxed since she smiles a lot, eyes appear to be very wide, and she leans over sideways a little with one fist on her hip when she's standing.

these two characters are similar in many aspects, e.g: hair style, 3 size, body language etc.
It seems like after NAMCO's success with Miki they use the same formula to design this new character
