  • As a registered nurse this has rendered me unable to work. I can't wait to have this procedure and heal and get back to my life.

  • I have severe compression at c5-c6 and lesser at c6-c7. I'm seeing a second surgeon Monday at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan. Hopefully I will have the surgery this week. I have bilateral upper extremity numbness in fingers 2-5 and bilateral lower extremity numbness in the thighs and knees. This has been going on for over a month with increasing symptoms. I can't type, write and I have trouble walking at times. I cant pick up or play with my kids, ages 1,4,7. As a registered nurs

  • I just underwent this surgical procedure through the VA medical system and the results are great. though my incision is much larger than is usually indicated from the things I have seen and read. Mine was C6/C7 with an unseen bone spur to complicate matters. Scar seems to be about 3 inches long. Great for Halloween. LOL

  • What a great video! One week ago I underwent this procedure. I had a large herniation c4-5.

  • what type of discs have been removed? Are they the spinal column discs?

  • @hman9981 3.The disks that herniated are the intervertebral spinal column disks and the herniated fragments are usually removed.
