HAA! Thanx! I use Sony Vegas. I also use Photoshop to make the still images. I remove all background & render em in PNG format then animate em with keyframes in Vegas. I plan on making a tutorial video on that soon.

Most likely it wasn't Youtube that posted yur videos on Metacafe, but someone using the html script to post yur videos. File a copyright infringement action with the account holder on Metacafe for stealing yur videos. If he submitted them to the director program for compensation, he could be liable bigtime! Good luck!
