  • WordPress brought me...

  • This is a very "placid" video. =p

  • I knew I recognized a dress style I saw on an antique shop, how could I forget that stylefrom this movie! if is one of my favorite classical musicals from the late 60's

  • Does anyone have this song recorded by Violetta Villas?

  • Your video is popular on Bhutan

  • I mean Barbra.

  • After watching Barbara, it's very obvious how Lea Michelle tries to act and sing JUST like her.

  • Hello......................Dolly.

  • Louis has the biggest smile in the world.

  • @AudioJunkify Also,the best.

  • I love the part where they sing this in Scary Movie 2.

  • Barbara Streisand was so good in this movie! She's so carefree and charming in it. I adore this song too!

  • He has such an amazing voice<3

  • I didn't feel like the movie or the plot justified this scene. It was a great song and a great number, but what the hell was so great about Dolly? I didn't get it at all.

  • @thelonelyslayer I totally agree...

  • I like Streisand and think she has a good voice. And i LOVE musicals, but i didn't much care for this one. I thought it was kind of boring. I think the only redeeming factor of that entire movie was this song. Loved it. Especially with Mr. Armstrong providing that cameo.

  • Barbara has the better voice but this video makes me think so much of Carol Channing. I don't care what others may say about her, one could not meet a sweeter, more genuine lady of the cinema. Met her and her [then] husband at Spagos in L.A. in 1993 or 1994. He worshiped the ground she walked upon and they made such a very cute couple.

  • Sachmo is just the best

  • The old ones are always the best. This film is a classic

  • Барбара, чудо как хороша!

  • If ever I come to power, I want to be greeted at a restaurant door just like this.

And it better be up to this standard, or else they can just expect me to turn around and leave.

    This is AMAZING.

  • This is like the all-time most classic moment of my life.. woa.. it's beautiful! thanks.. Dina

  • Anyone here check out Freakazoid's Homage (I'll call it an homage because it wasn't a real parody you know mocking it) to this? called Bonjour Lobby? If not check it out it's charming and has Freakazoid as Louis

  • Say what you will about this woman... but her voice is uh-maz-ing!

  • Scary Movie 2. lmao!

  • Mükemmel..

  • well unless you are a cat in the musical cats. Where they are choosing which cat to go to cat heaven lol.

  • I'm a sandwich and I love this music.

  • I've loved this film since i was 7 im 14 now :)

  • I love Brabraaaaa !

  • Why can't life be a musical? It would suck less, anyway...

  • @Flash9Flood AGREED

  • @Flash9Flood Life is what you make it. Shelly in the TV show Northern Exposure started singing everything instead of talking.

  • @Flash9Flood "All those hearts laid open. That must sting! Plus some customers just start combusting. That's the penalty when life is but a song!"

~Sweet the Demon, Buffy's "Once More With Feeling

  • @Flash9Flood That would be great it would cheer me up before a test......

  • One of my favorite movies!

  • Barbra is lovely. I'm doing this musical for school; hopefully make the callbacks!!

  • I love how everyone who says 'Oh I love Barbara!' spells it wrong.

  • those male dancers look so gay. lol

  • "I find it hilarious that Barbara thinks she has a good side" Kathy Griffin. lol

  • I may mock her nose, but I love Barbara, she's is amazingly talented. She is really just fantastic :)

  • Wheew. Embarrassing.

  • Hello Dolly xxx

  • EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK i love this move too!!!!!!! hahaXD

  • EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK i love this move too!!!!!!!

  • how could she call herself the old girl..shes gorjus

  • I remember watching this so many times when I was a kid. I was at a Fourth of July program and they were playing the instrumental version of this and I was singing along and being only 20 everyone was staring at me like I was nuts. It was really sad. Amazing movie and amazing son.

  • I think this is my favorite movie musicals. Barbra, a fantastic singer and actress!! Walter Mathau - one of a kind!

  • I Love This Song I'm 14 XD

  • @Clat2o Same here!

  • @Clat2o me too¡¡¡¡¡ well, i'm about 15

  • @Clat2o cheers, same here

  • @Clat2o SO?

  • @Clat2o i'm 4 years old don't worry it's my dad's account

  • RIP grandma this was her favorite movie i use to sing this to her all the time !

  • I hate... I really, really hate that whenever I mention Barbra Streisand, such as the fact that she is my role model, friends have no clue who she is and they jump into the Barbra Streisand Duck Sauce song instead of embracing the absolute talent she is

  • @TheMusicanddrama that's the sad world we live in

  • is that lou rawls?

  • of course that is du!!!

  • I'm not a huge fan of Barbra, but i love this movie and especially this song :)

  • Say what you want to, but my the age of 23 she had sung with Jusy Garland, Louis Armstrong, Ethel Merman, etc. Greatness is greastness

  • she is my aunt

  • @pauliswickedgreen sure she is.

  • nice hair dolly! haha funny

  • is it my or does the guy look kinda eccentric lol

  • no

  • hello dolly

  • OWWWW I love Louis!!!

  • Super Bellos .Los mejores sus almas cantan.

  • Hello, Dolly

    Well, hello Dolly

    lovelovelovelove.

  • my school just closed this show. it was amazing

  • uuuuuhuhuuuuuhuuuh

    uuuuuuuuuuuhuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhh

    barbra streisand

  • las lomas high school just did put on hella dolly and it was by far the best high schol production i have ever seen

  • Shubael 1809 you are being incredibly racist. It's this amount of ignorance and utter racism that halts the united states progress towards a united nation. Please go educate yourself as to finding out comebacks that do not high light your stupidity. I could care less if you are gay because that is your personal choice but do not result into hatred comments about the color of a persons skin.

  • my school put on this musical it was absolutely AMAZING

  • niezłą dupą była

  • 0:25 ... something looks wrong there, its been bugging me, but.. i dont know something seems out of place

  • THis reminds me of my high school production of Hello Dolly back in the 80s

  • Lesbian? What the hockey Puck is wrong with you? She's a fabulous and gifted entertainer! And look at that hour glass figure! But more importantly, what does anyone's sexuality have to do with talent? Obviously, you have no talent and probably masculinity insecurities as well or you wouldn't mention it.

  • she is so lesbian look at her like what the hell i bet i can find someone that can lipsing better than her

  • @netgearrca lol@ "lipsing" The word, you IDIOT, is "lipsync" as in SIGN IN SYNCHRONICITY with the words using ones lips? Ignorance ought to be banned. And it's "better than SHE"! not "better than her". Dunce.

  • @Shubael1809 read "SING" for SIGN in my post below

  • @Shubael1809 do u think i give a damn asshole i dont care if i care then i would thank you but im not so shut up gay fucker

  • @netgearrca if you don't "give a damn" then why are you watching a video of Barbra Streisand? And thanks for noticing I'm gay. Oh, but I don't fuck. I prefer to suck cock and have mine sucked. Gay men are REALLY good at sucking cock and giving head. But then of course you'd already know that. ;-). Good luck with that life in your closet in that trailer!

  • @Shubael1809 Bitch, I ain't gay, I have a life, unlike you. You're only gay because no girl ever liked you and I bet you rape all those guys you talk about.and there are gay happy folks then there are ignorant motherfuckers like you...... and by the way: GET A LIFE AND STOP ONLINE DATING

  • @netgearrca Oh good you're not gay. We don't want morons. We're too good for you. You know all the stereotypes but nonetheless here you are at a Barbra Streisand video. Oh and find yourself an anger management course. You're a mess.

  • @Shubael1809 Hey shut up, majority of the people are straight so you can get yo ass kicked easily bitch, we'll kick yo ass back into yo damn closet.

  • @FX4170 "yo closet"?? Ummmm any chance you're black? LOL! And it's "damned closet" not "dam closet"

"easily" huh? Oh you'd be surprised blackie. I'd kick your moronic prejudiced behind back to the Ivory Coast.

Now go fuck yourself. OH sorry... your dick's too short! LMAO

  • @Shubael1809 Sike, gay guys can't do shit, thaz why you guys be called "gay", cuz you act like lil girlz, I bet even a girl can do more shit than you, you probably too scared to even hurt a ant

  • @FX4170 "Sike"? Moron. That a little idiot like you would believe the shit your spouting in this day and age makes you waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay behind the eight ball. You're the "girl" you go after pussy. Pussy is girlie. DO you know you write as though you've never been to school blackie? And learn to speak English. Your ghetto blathering is annoying. Why ARE you watching a Streisand video hmmmmmmmmm?

  • @Shubael1809 Oh my bad, you want me to speak NERD like you do? n' stop callin' me "blackie" bitch

  • @FX4170 "my bad"? oh you're a fucking moron. I want you to speak anything but ENGLISH. It's your native language you idiot. I'd never have called you "blackie" if you'd not started in with the "beat your ass" bullshit based in bigotry. You're so brave hiding behind a computer screen aren't you? You're a mouse in real life. Most gay men I know are buff and you wouldn't want to fuck with them. Now behave yourself and act like a decent human being blackie. (Would you prefer "brownie"?)

  • @Shubael1809 Bitch I ain't even behind a computer screen and you the one thaz sayin shit you can't do, and why the fuck you usin' big words, I mean "Bigotry"? REALLY!?! This isn't nerd's class faggot, you don't need to get all smart mr.Know-It-All-gay-bitch

  • @FX4170 Nigger? That's enough. I will abide no more of your disrespect!! "Big words"?? You TRULY are stupid! It always amazes me how much more intelligent white gay people are than ALL niggers.

  • @Shubael1809 You so stupid, cuz first of all, I'M NOT BLACK, this whole time you were the damn fool callin' me "Blackie" when I ain't even black. And yeah, White gay people can be smarter than ALL niggas, but people would still prefer to hang out with ANY nigga and not a gay guy of any kind

  • @FX4170 it's "you ARE so stupid" stupid. You're black all right blackie! And no you're mistaken. Most people "hang out" with interesting intelligent people rather than hate-filled niggers. Just look at the quality of your friends blackie... they're smelly trash with their pants hanging down. And, again, why are you watching a Streisand video?

  • @Shubael1809 Bitch I can do whatever I want. And true, people do hang out with "interesting intelligent" people, but NOBODY hangs out with GAY people. And hey, at least I got friends unlike you, you're just a gay loner that rapes every man you see.

  • @FX4170 Nigger? Everybody knows (except nigger morons like you) that gay people are the most interesting company. Ellen Degeneres, Elton John, David Hyde Pierce, Neil Patrick Harris, K. D. Lang. Fucking get with the program brownie. And dude? It's STRAIGHT men who rape. Seen my photo? The very last thing I'd want to do is rape anyone. They come after me.

  • @Shubael1809 Why the fuck would I wanna look at yo photo you fuckin homo, N' if those men come after u itz cuz they are desperate gay men like you. n' gay people aren't interesting. And there's way more popular STRAIGHT people

  • @FX4170 Why would youi want to look at a Barbra Streisand video? Yet here you are!! Come out! Come out! Whatever you are!! Straight people (especially the niggers) are one step from being baboons. Gay people are superior in all ways.

  • @Shubael1809 Gay people can't do shit, n' how many times do I gotta tell you I ain't black you fuckin bitch

  • @FX4170 oh don't get your nasty nigger undies in a twist ghetto boy

  • @Shubael1809 I told ya I ain't black

  • @FX4170 No you're not black, you're a NIGGER

  • Wow! It was awesome to watch this after so many years. Thanks for the memories.

  • For the person who said this musical "stunk", you have no idea what you are talking about. Though Streisand may have been a little too young for the part it still ranks as one if the all time great musicals.

  • @rcir2 I totally agree

  • I came here because of Wall.E lol

  • 50 bucks that she is lesbian

  • @netgearrca ,

    $1000 she aint,lol!

  • i used to watch hello dolly millions of times when i was little and i still love the singing, the dancing and the costumes:)

  • She sucks at lip singing u can tell she is lip singing

  • I'm 13 and I prefer this to ANYTHING you find on the radio

  • @shego315 You are an smart 13 years old kid. Great choice !

  • Aside from the brilliant musical numbers, I think the world (including Barbra herself) pretty much agrees that the rest of the movie was a stinker that just didn't work; largely due to just really bad timing. Because entertainment and culture in America changed so drastically almost at the precise moment Hello Dolly came out, it was instantly (glaringly) 'dated' and very passe'. For example, the same year gave us the x-rated Midnight Cowboy, Butch Cassidy, and Bob Carol Ted & Alice!

  • @mikesterSTLMO I think Gene Kelly stunk in directing this movie. The people looked like Disney characters. I think that the short time Streisand & Armstrong are together is completely magical!

  • @Monrocsol I don't know if Kelly stunk, but as I tried to say earlier I think it was just bad timing. Our culture changed so drastically in such a short time that wholesome movie musicals were completely over with by the time Hello Dolly even opened; and to make it worse, this one stunk. The only reason it is even notable is because it starred the incredible Streisand ... albeit, totally miscast.

  • @mikesterSTLMO Yes, incredible Streisand!

  • Was Louis's voice naturally like that? o_O Or was he doing something to it? Sounds great, really jazzy, but I was just wondering :)

  • @LucidDivinity that is Louis's natural voice he is really well known for it

  • Babs rules!

  • BARBRA IS AN AMAZING ICON. SHE COULD RUND FOR PRESIDENT AND WIN.

SHE IS THE BEST SINGER, ACTRESS, DIRECTOR AND HAS WON EVERY

AWARD THERE IS. ONE IN A BILLION AND WE LOVE HER.

  • @NSINATRA1960 Yessss !Babra for president ! Id vote for her !!!

  • @madonnabiggestfan , I would too.

  • i find these movie original in bluckbuster for 1 dolar... xD i love hello dolly

  • pish !

  • pish !

  • WHOA!

    BARBARA IS OLD!!

  • The whole dance scene with the waiters dancing used to be on here. Does anyone have it?

  • Some may think that Barbara was only acting, but you can tell by the look in her eyes the respect and admiration she felt for the great star next to her: Louis Armstrong! Nothing but a great display of Barbara's great humility and grandeur!!

    Viva Barbara!!

  • A celebration of art and joy!! Art and music at their best!!

This music and dancing make me want to go on!!

  • AHHHHHHHHHHHHH MY TWO FAVORITES!!!

  • I cant even describe how amazing she is in this movie!

  • The irony of this film is that Barbra was perfect to play the role of Dolly with one glaring exception........

She was WAY too young at the time when this movie was shot. The character is SUPPOSE to be a middle age woman (hence why she was played by the likes of Carol Channing, Pearl Bailey, Mary Martin & Ethel Merman on stage)....

When this film went into production, Striesand was in her mid twenties. Had this movie been made some twenty years later, she would have been the ideal image!

  • @woohooboy but her voice would have been over-used by then. think of how many movies she would have done by then!

  • @kikkianna98 - Barbra could have still pulled it off if "Hello Dolly" was made in the late 80's - early 90's (although musicals were WAY out of fashion with movie goers at that time). Today, maybe not, although she still has her voice - it's just not as strong as it use to be.......

  • This was one of my FAVOURITE movies growing up. And I'm almost 15 now. XD. Sometimes I start singing "Hello Dolly. Well hello Dolly" and my friends are all like... what? It's a shame :(. These musicals were FAR better then High School Musical. I love this movie <3 <3

  • @AnnabethChase17 You are SOOOO right! This is My Fave, and Im am nearly 49....Barbara & her Magical TALENT are TIMELESS! Enjoy Young One! I am glad to see the next generations enjoy her too!

  • @AnnabethChase17 i can sympathize. i remember when i was a kid all of my favorite actors were dead or dying. but it's cool to have more reference than just pop bullshit and mtv. keep that good head on your shoulders.

  • @AnnabethChase17 it realy is a shame im 16 and none of my friends have even heard of this

  • @ninjaguy1995 I know :(

  • lol cool = )

  • Mecha Streisand!

  • Fantasztikus!

  • ya no exciste este talento

  • que asco

  • @iZilvana y para que mierda te tomas el trabajo de buscarlo y verlo?

  • I love this musical and this is the best part!

  • I would love to see one of these big lavish period musicals made nowadays. I want huge musicals numbers, huge dance numbers and unbridled optimism!

  • i love this so much my kids are going to grow up on these great musicals

  • love this song :)

  • Que lindoooooooooooo, me encantan los dosssssssssssssssssssss

    ViVa Louis and Barbara

  • Barbra's Hello Dolly, now in retrospect, is a vocal and comedic tour de force. Just that segment with Armstrong alone is SUBLIME. It is a Pity the critics at the time couldn't see past their own elitism.

  • @Shubael1809

Barbara sounds horrible in this song, squeaky and slightly off key at times.

  • @180DegreeMason As if you'd know the first thing about 1) Music 2) Broadway Music 3) Streisand's talent 4) the virtuosity of Streisand's version of "Hello Dolly". Oh and just so you know of Streisand critic? Her first name is spelled "BARBRA". You're dislike of her is rooted in her being a Jew. Nothing else. If you don't like Broadway music per se here's an idea; DON'T LISTEN TO IT. Don't you have something better to do than to troll these sites?

  • @Shubael1809

I do not a lot about music, I was raised watching Broadway Musicals. My Grandmother was in Broadway and I've seen quite a few. I'm certainly a fan of phantom of the opera. Streisand may be talented, but I do not like her presence in this song at all very honestly. I never said anything about her being Jewish, I said she sounds squeaky because I think she does. I wanted to go back and have a nostalgic experience, there are a lot of old musicals with better singing than BARBRA's...

  • @180DegreeMason No. You never said anything about her being Jewish but my dad is a Mason. I know the thinking. Barbra's in a class all her own and I'm not about to argue the point with you other than to say most would utterly disagree with your critique of this song. What happened to the old adage "if you have nothing nice to say about say nothing at all"??

So who DO you like Mary Martin?

  • @180DegreeMason do you need hearing aids? you try singing like that. thanks.

  • @Shubael1809 friend if critics had any talent themselves they wouldn't be critics. they'd be entertaining instead of feeding vicariously off the talents of others to make their pathetic lives seem important.

  • damn!

    barbara and louis together?

she must be old as then!

  • 1:31 Doesnt that give you chills? Or is that just me?

  • Is there any place where I can watch this movie online for free?

  • Love Love Love this Movie and Barbr a Streisand Forever #1

  • A great song and great artists

    Big G

  • I love when Barbra sais "I'm so glad to be back! LOL

  • perfection!

  • Believe it or not the movie did not bomb. In fact it did extremely well at the box office. The problem was it ran way over budget in filming costing 25 million to make and that kind of money for a movie in 1969 was unheard of. The movie simply could not make it's money back. But over time it did make it's money between tv airing's the sountrack sales and then video and dvd releases. Barbra always felt she was to young for the role and thought Elizabeth Taylor should have been cast.

  • pity she was oen of those girls who liked to spend her cash all the time and was a deva to its sad cause she is amazing

  • Omg amaaaaazing

  • I love this movie. Miss you Mr. Armstrong!! Requiescat In Pace

  • i love her

  • this is our school musical, im in the orchestra, this is the best song.

  • great movie they sure dont them like this any more to bad

  • GENIUS !!!
