Yes, I concrete things something which kids can touch and feel, in order to grasp the meaning and sense of mathematics which is being instilled in them. What would motivate the child to recall the beats in the previous fragment of time when its over. The child may more focus on kind of sound rather than quantity of beats.Where is the record in concrete form to make him conceptualize and realize that something has been added or substracted when he revises the bulk of any quantity before him ?
A nice effort to teach maths. But I personally don't think that would be a great idea to teach addition. I mean, you should have something solids to teach your kids. Kids learn from concrete object and not just sound. Something solid, something he can touch it, feel it.. This sounds of animal might attract them but honestly who going to pay attention how many sound have been played?
