For the record, I personally bought myself a PS3 because of a combination of things. The lower price point and the free online factored in heavily, but it was the games that really sealed the deal. That said, those games were not Modern Warfare 2 or Assassin's Creed 2, but rather Uncharted 2, Brutal Legend, and LittleBigPlanet.

I'd simply rather buy a system based on games that are already out, instead of prospecting upon games that aren't out yet.
