Chimps DON'T have wars over tangible items, they don't care about cars, money, or what home you have. Granted this isn't something they have but in relevance to their culture.
Indeed, they have wars over typical things such as land (for food), however they don't have wars over useless things.
It's odd...........so many seem to think that these apes and monkeys have stayed the same and only humans have changed. It's the exact wrong way to view evolution. They've changed as much as we have. We were never chimps. Chimpanzees weren't around back then. I don't see why people have such a hard time understanding that part of evolution.
Here here! I have encountered the same thing. I think it largely stems from the oversimplification of evolution by 'popular' science. Glossing over these important details lead to gross misconceptions.
@aaaazzzzable What makes you think we aren't in the middle of Evolution right now? Your timescale is too small. We are still evolving, a work still in progress. Evolution is a continual process that covers millions of years. There's no telling what humans will look like millions of years from now.
@dafttool Okay? So how come I don't see primates around now? Like the ones that are in the middle of evolution. According to you humans have evolved but will evolve into something else. So tell me why aren't there any primates out there in the middle of the evolutionary process FROM the apes? Did they conveniently die out when humans came to be?
@aaaazzzzable This video shows you an assortment of snapshots of primates that exist right now. What you're trying to ask is, "Where are the intermediary species, the missing links?" They're in the fossil record, snapshots of the past. Some species died out completely (evolutionary dead-ends), some became entirely new species (like us & everything in this video), & some were incorporated into other species (such as the Neanderthal DNA we've found in our own DNA) before dying out.
@aaaazzzzable You aren't listening. Apes will never & have never stopped evolving. Man will never & has never stopped evolving. Bacteria will never & has never stopped evolving. Species either have/develop the adaptations to aid in their survival or they die out. Survival of the fittest. We are not the final product of what consists of man, & the same can be said of apes. All living creatures are only a snapshot of the way things are right now at this limited point in time.
@dafttool So any existing primates or Neanderthals (from the 19 century onward) DID die out because they were killed my the more dominate species which was obviously the apes because humans would be ALL OVER that. But that wouldn't be true because the Neanderthal is the next stage then it would dominate Ape. So you still haven't answered by question where are the more evolved Neanderthals on earth now? The ones that WILL turn into humans in the next in the millenium or so?
@aaaazzzzable 19 century?!! Listen very closely. Neanderthals died out some 24,000 to 30,000 yrs ago. Genetic evidence suggests interbreeding took place with anatomically modern humans between roughly 80,000 & 50,000 years ago in the Middle East, resulting in 1–4% of the genome of people from Eurasia having been contributed by Neanderthals. They were a separate species than us, but close enough that interbreeding was possible. Humans probably killed them off, but we don't know...
@dafttool cont ...that for sure. We do know they buried their dead with flowers & cared for the infirmed & elderly, by examining their fossils, so in many ways they were like humans. But let's be clear, they were on a separate evolutionary track than humans (that briefly intermingled at one point). Where are the "modern Neanderthals?" you ask. What's left of them exists in man, at 1 to 4% of the DNA of people in Eurasia.
@dafttool cont...You ask, what of the "ones that WILL turn into humans in the next in the millenium or so?" None will turn into humans. We have our own unique genetic code. Whatever (IF ever) human-like species that will develop in the future will have its own genetic code unique to itself just as ours is unique to us. There have been numerous human-like species, but most died off long ago. We each inhabited different branches of the same evolutionary tree, the trunk being primates.
@dafttool So, if we mutated into humans then how come we are still alive? Research shows that mutation, of any creature, weakens the genetic code of that animal. Making it impossible for human to ever reproduce or become dominate over another. Even if humans did have the ability to reproduce we'd die because of higher dominates of a stronger blood line. Leaving me to believe Humans are a pure blood line not a sect of something else.
@aaaazzzzable You are talking junk science. Not all mutations are bad for a species survival; some actually make it possible for a species to survive where it might not have without those mutations, such as bacteria which evolve resistances to various antibiotics to become superbugs which no antibiotic can harm. Man's large, complex brain is one such mutation (from a very long time ago) which has helped us to survive for this long.
@dafttool Oh, so you just completely discard any facts that make evolution sound sketchy and/or wrong? I thought evolutionists always whaled on religions for doing that? :P Hmm, I guess Atheist-Evolutionists can't talk about us anymore... even though I have yet to hear a case that even came close to convincing me God doesn't exist. :P
@aaaazzzzable If Evolution was "sketchy and/or wrong" the science surrounding Evolution would collapse. Instead, there have been NO findings to contradict Evolution, while new technologies only re-affirm its previous findings. --BTW, a belief in God & a belief in Evolution are NOT mutually exclusive, especially if one believes God works through Evolution/Nature.
@dafttool Man your like a robot... "Must... make sense of sit-oo-ation *Beep bop boop*." Evolution is wrong/sketchy it's, simply, your strong beliefs that keep it alive. Why do you think you were so quick to shoot down the fact that mutation isn't possible? Because you have so much faith that evolution is SOOO correct your not willing to consider any fact that prove evolution wrong.
@aaaazzzzable If there were ANY faults found in the science of Evolution, it would be exposed & the theory discredited. That's how peer review science works. You don't keep around old "dogma" after it has been exposed as false (like the sun orbiting the Earth or dinosaurs being cold-blooded). Thus, there is nothing wrong or sketchy about it (which made it all the easier for me to teach in Biology). Hiding your head in the sand avoiding facts doesn't change those facts.
@dafttool Oh, so you only believe something if a well known scientist tell you to believe it? ... Wow, just ... wow. More and More this is sounding like a generic religion. You really think they are gonna release info that will destroy decades of research? No. Sorry buddy but facts are facts whether you lab leaders tell you so or not. Think for your self don't be lead by a man in a white coat. Mutation isn't possible as long as your leaders don't say anything it isn't true, like you for example.
@dafttool Also I know what you mean my All belief in God is Automatic. Which is not only rude but a very non-thought out statement. Your very one minded if you believe that all humans who believe in God are just Mindless freaks who have been hypnotized or brain washed since birth. As freely as you believe in Evolution is as freely as I believe in Jehovah. Everything You and I Do, Think, and believe is manual. I don't care what you have to say that's just a solid fact.
What i have learned that origin of life is still mystery. I just like to keep open mind to things that i dont know. If you know how life has became to this planet can you please explane it to me it? I would really like to know! :D Can you make life in laboratory? Isn`t that basis for science that you can support a theory with a for example laboratory test or other kind of proof? If im wrong that it has been done already excuse me. I like to be wrong. if somebody can prove it to me i learn. ;)
Well it's a misconception to say that science is only valid if it can be replicated in a laboratory (astronomy & astrophysics would be nonexistent-try making a black hole or red giant). But actually many of the first steps to creating life have been replicated in laboratories, using similar conditions of what probably existed in the primordial ooze (for instance, amino acids, the building blocks of DNA, have been created from scratch). Simple organisms progress to more complex organisms.
I would suggest reading a college biology textbook, googling these topics (origins of life, genetics, etc), and even reading the conversation thread presented here. There's just too much to say within a 500 character limit.
You can call it as you wish, no problem. :) One thing that is still mystery is how life became to be on earth. Does natural selection happen in nature? Of course.. Does species evolve with time, yeah. Darwins book "origin of species" Written 1984 starts from one cell. It doesn`t explaine from where that cell came. Back then microscopes were pretty crappy and they thought that smallest construct piece of life is cell. Now we know It`s not true. This days science is futures laughing stock.
Just the vast majority of ALL scientists, researchers, educators & educated people. The only thing that is collapsed are the same old tired arguments against Evolution that are repeatedly dragged out time & again by superstitious people who disregard their continual previous failures & who give more weight to their mythological folk stories than to substantiated scientific findings.
You can deny the truth & validity of Evolution all you like, but that doesn't diminish that truth or validity, only your own ability to accept reality. The mythology I was referring to was a literal interpretation of Genesis. Somehow I imagine you have no problem accepting scientific achievements you favor (computers, medicine, etc). If you had read my comment thread here, you would've seen that I said many times that Evolution & a belief in God are quite compatible concepts.
i am not waiting for human science to say that evolution is a collpased theory by evidences eventhoguh science nowdays consider evolution science fiction joke by evidences [ but as i metnioned i was not waiting for them specially that they disapprove it b4 i was born]
the other hint and the big surprise : i am a muslim
Not a surprise at all. And it doesn't change anything I wrote. The Bible & the Koran share essentially the same mythologies surrounding creation. Both are perfectly fine when not taken literally, when taken for spiritual purposes. But they're a poor substitute for a scientific understanding of the nature of reality. You're simply misguided if you believe that Evolution is not the accepted explanation for how life formed. God/Allah may have had a hand in that, but that is immaterial to science.
you as a zoologist did not u study that the acquired characters are not inherited
did not u study that in seas and oceans water has a special property that the surface only freeze and it keeps itself at 4 degrees to allow the survival of aquatic creatures
do u know that there r an infinite factors that if a one of them is missing no creature would survive ,etc
Studied & learned lots of things, but as they apply to Evolution & Genetics, changes/adaptations (mutations) occur in DNA that when they are beneficial to the survival of the species are passed on to subsequent generations, but when they are not beneficial can lead to those same species dying out if they get in the way of survival. Survival of the fittest (though frankly it is sometimes survival of the luckiest, such as small mammals superceding giant dinosaurs in prehistoric times).
Fantastic video! I especially like the use of the song "We are Family." :) Thanks for sharing.
If you haven't happened upon it already, you might be interested in a "Nova Science Now" (PBS) segment from last month on the first primates. It deals with very recent research on our common ancestor and early related clades, as well as why we evolved the characteristics that make us primates. Fascinating.
You can watch the segment online. Google search: "Nova Science Now" "First Primates"
this should be a wake call to all these racist white people who call black people monkeys, its interesting to see most primates have straight hair, thin lips and noses in alot of cases and clearer eye colors. re examine the facts if you need...
Ha! I knew based on your title you'd attract some zealots who object to our classification as animals, because they read something in the bible (a dusty book written when mankind was 2000 years dumber). Nice video, thanks for taking the time. If creationists aren't open-minded enough to enjoy it, that's their problem. I bet they trust science enough to drive cars, heat their homes, watch television, get medical care. Strange how they pick and choose their bizarre mistrust of science...
The zealots actually took me by surprise. For almost a year, this video mostly attracted positive feedback, lulling me into a false sense of calm. But then that Dramatic Lemur video came out, exposing the video to a much larger audience.
Everything in the video is from textbooks, so the people most upset w/it obviously have issues greater than this little video. As you say, they pick & choose what science they like, ignoring that science builds on itself & what doesn't work is thrown out.
oy vey! Itz crazy you anti-semites why you always persecuting us? Israel has a right to defend itself. Oy vey you anti-semites! You Nazi's you! You want to burn us, oy vey!
i believe the bible was made at a time when people were smarter (even scientists cant explain the pyramids and how eygptians ethopians came up with ventalation open heart surgery the renisance in europe) and as time goes on people live shorter t.v. and unhealthy food hold us back theres always been a fight between sciene religion and money but if your truly smart you would see how they ALL work together
You are on the right track ;). I like the way u think. U think like me but ur thoughts have taken you to a bit of a different direction. They do ALL work together, but around 6000 years ago, something happend on earth wich made us seem smarter and we did IMPOSIBLE things which we can only do with techknowlegy today. Something influence humans, and got the ball rolling. But what? Theres a missing link even in evolution. Where we brought here? where we Taught here? Where we bread? The heavens?
Why do humans always seem to refer to the heavens. Was there influences from the sky? It seems to be inprinted in our lives but we just cant see it. Why are there books like the kuran and bible that tell us historical events in such a unique manner almost like an instruction mauaul? Why were there people like prophits? Why are humans so curious creatures? Its like the fucking truman show lol and where all TRUMAN. Who really fucking knows, BUT THERES DEFINATLY MORE THEN WE CAN IMAGINE and KNOW.
thank u for your positive comment if we ask questions thats the first step to answers B.I.B.L.E. - BASIC. INSTRUCTIONS. BEFORE. LEAVING. EARTH. - WU TANG
I believe that it is also our thoughts over a long period of time which actually physically change us. Subconsciously what we want and need is what we get. Everything could be based on our minds learning process. Slowly evolving, adapting and answering to our brains questions
A simple example is the guy who created this video. He thought about it in his mind, which trigerd him to create this video which EVOLVED all these reponses.
Every action has a reaction and these reactions create an invinate world over a long long period of time. But then again, fuck if i know.
Just think what man will look like in a few million years... All mater evolves overtime. Just look at technolegy. Even though we are the creators it is still mater in itself which then itself becomes the creator. And i guess this is how the whole universe works but to say who the original creator is, billions and billions of light years away is simply imposible. We can only just use our imaginations which will also ivolve over time because the brain of any mater is the creator.
who knows i believe evolution to be horizontle not necesarily vertical
like instead of conceptualizing evolution in hierarchical terms i prefer to think of it more like somthing spreading out on an equal horizontle plane. I dont say we evolve up from fish, amphibians, reptiles, cynodants, rodents, monkies, apes etc.. rather i think rathr we evolve away.
Hence this is why we all ariginated from africa. Clearly you can see the patern as man spread out of africa over millions of years to different parts of the world where the lifstyle and climent is differnt, man evolved to these conditions. Hence also why black athelets are far more superior. They are the original species of the primate evolution process.
I suggest you check out evilbible . com to read the lines of the bible and see how the bible commands the deaths of millions, wars, rapes, murders and enslavement.
Religion is just fucked up - its the main cause of conflict and allways has been throughout history. It's just something which has been INVENTED by people who felt the need to believe in something.
You're absolutely right. And it doesn't help that it has become such a sensitive subject, schools only touch upon it in a cursory manner fearing of upsetting people, so it only perpetuates the general public's ignorance.
Sorry, but most of what I photographed were primates I worked with or happpened to see at other zoos. This is a very incomplete list of primates,... more like an overview.
Those deer were remarkably patient. They used to come and steal the food we put out for the monkeys. The monkeys enjoyed harassing them. In the photo you mentioned, that was the alpha male of the troop. You can see that he's actually quite large compared with the deer.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Its a fact. All life, at least the higher forms of life, are variations on a theme. Isn't God awesome to be able to create so many different designs but all sharing similar features like two eyes, a nose, a mouth, two ears, etc. Makes you want to reject evolution, the big lie.
And no, similar features suggest we all evolved from the same initial cells, and they would suggest that god isn't creative enought to create an original design for everything...
So it is more likely that supernatural magical god was the first thing to appear(And you don't seem to think he needed a creator) than simple cells/particles being the first things to appear(they do need a creator). Thank you, I've seen the light. Is your reasoning "because God is magical he doesn't need an explanation, hes magical after all, simple particles on the other hand are not magical and require an explanation."
Thanks for your nice comment. The lemur pictured here has a much shortened tail than one would normally expect (long story), but despite that you can sense he has a light in his eyes (00:35). Like all of the primates I've been around, they're always thinking, even if that thinking sometimes get them (or rather, us) into trouble.
Humans being classified by scientists in the Order Primate says nothing about who our Creator is, and regardless of that, the Creator of humans is no different than the Creator for the rest of the animal kingdom.
Actually I censored one of the photos by cropping it in close. The Vervet monkey has bright blue balls, a bright red willie and a pure white underside. Quite patriotic actually, but I didn't want the video flagged. :-/
I love ring-tailed lemurs. One jumped on my back in a zoo once and it was carrying a baby. It then jumped onto the floor and fed it's baby infront of us, it was ever so cute!
I also love squirrel monkeys they are so funny! and cute!
Ring-tailed lemurs are great. They have scent glands on their wrists so they're all the time rubbing them on branches and things. The one photographed here has a tail two thirds shorter than normal, so he's not nearly as spectacular as an example as I would've liked.
Absolutely. But it's amazing how many people get offended at the mere suggestion that humans are animals. :-/ It doesn't seem to connect in their heads that we eat, sleep, poop, have babies, grow old, etc just like our fellow animals. And these same people also get offended to learn that some animals might have feelings, thoughts, emotions, sleeping dreams, etc just like people, as if we again somehow incredibly different, unique & set apart from the rest of the animal kingdom. :-/
That's all new to me. I don't know if you're being serious or not. Often monkeys have several names, like the vervet which has at least 4 different names. But frankly all of the little monkeys are like little ninjas. :)
lol i was joking, they look like the characters, the first one's got hair like conan, the second ones got hair on its face which looks like a ninja mask and the last one´s got a cross on its forehead. hehe

It doesn't matter if you believe in theory of evolution or not. However, if you believe apes are our cousins then you have to look at this.
1.) Their FAR more sociable, and better at it
2.) They don't have wars
3.) They get along A LOT better in their "groups"
4.) Overall. their smarter then some people.

The ones that WILL turn into humans in the next in the millenium or so?
aaaazzzzable 2 months ago
@aaaazzzzable 19 century?!! Listen very closely. Neanderthals died out some 24,000 to 30,000 yrs ago. Genetic evidence suggests interbreeding took place with anatomically modern humans between roughly 80,000 & 50,000 years ago in the Middle East, resulting in 1–4% of the genome of people from Eurasia having been contributed by Neanderthals. They were a separate species than us, but close enough that interbreeding was possible. Humans probably killed them off, but we don't know...
dafttool 2 months ago
@dafttool cont ...that for sure. We do know they buried their dead with flowers & cared for the infirmed & elderly, by examining their fossils, so in many ways they were like humans. But let's be clear, they were on a separate evolutionary track than humans (that briefly intermingled at one point). Where are the "modern Neanderthals?" you ask. What's left of them exists in man, at 1 to 4% of the DNA of people in Eurasia.
dafttool 2 months ago
@dafttool cont...You ask, what of the "ones that WILL turn into humans in the next in the millenium or so?" None will turn into humans. We have our own unique genetic code. Whatever (IF ever) human-like species that will develop in the future will have its own genetic code unique to itself just as ours is unique to us. There have been numerous human-like species, but most died off long ago. We each inhabited different branches of the same evolutionary tree, the trunk being primates.
dafttool 2 months ago
@dafttool So, if we mutated into humans then how come we are still alive? Research shows that mutation, of any creature, weakens the genetic code of that animal. Making it impossible for human to ever reproduce or become dominate over another. Even if humans did have the ability to reproduce we'd die because of higher dominates of a stronger blood line. Leaving me to believe Humans are a pure blood line not a sect of something else.
aaaazzzzable 2 months ago
@aaaazzzzable You are talking junk science. Not all mutations are bad for a species survival; some actually make it possible for a species to survive where it might not have without those mutations, such as bacteria which evolve resistances to various antibiotics to become superbugs which no antibiotic can harm. Man's large, complex brain is one such mutation (from a very long time ago) which has helped us to survive for this long.
dafttool 2 months ago
@dafttool Oh, so you just completely discard any facts that make evolution sound sketchy and/or wrong? I thought evolutionists always whaled on religions for doing that? :P Hmm, I guess Atheist-Evolutionists can't talk about us anymore... even though I have yet to hear a case that even came close to convincing me God doesn't exist. :P
aaaazzzzable 1 month ago
@aaaazzzzable If Evolution was "sketchy and/or wrong" the science surrounding Evolution would collapse. Instead, there have been NO findings to contradict Evolution, while new technologies only re-affirm its previous findings. --BTW, a belief in God & a belief in Evolution are NOT mutually exclusive, especially if one believes God works through Evolution/Nature.
dafttool 1 month ago
@dafttool Man your like a robot... "Must... make sense of sit-oo-ation *Beep bop boop*." Evolution is wrong/sketchy it's, simply, your strong beliefs that keep it alive. Why do you think you were so quick to shoot down the fact that mutation isn't possible? Because you have so much faith that evolution is SOOO correct your not willing to consider any fact that prove evolution wrong.
aaaazzzzable 1 month ago
@aaaazzzzable If there were ANY faults found in the science of Evolution, it would be exposed & the theory discredited. That's how peer review science works. You don't keep around old "dogma" after it has been exposed as false (like the sun orbiting the Earth or dinosaurs being cold-blooded). Thus, there is nothing wrong or sketchy about it (which made it all the easier for me to teach in Biology). Hiding your head in the sand avoiding facts doesn't change those facts.
dafttool 1 month ago
@dafttool Oh, so you only believe something if a well known scientist tell you to believe it? ... Wow, just ... wow. More and More this is sounding like a generic religion. You really think they are gonna release info that will destroy decades of research? No. Sorry buddy but facts are facts whether you lab leaders tell you so or not. Think for your self don't be lead by a man in a white coat. Mutation isn't possible as long as your leaders don't say anything it isn't true, like you for example.
aaaazzzzable 1 month ago
@dafttool Also I know what you mean my All belief in God is Automatic. Which is not only rude but a very non-thought out statement. Your very one minded if you believe that all humans who believe in God are just Mindless freaks who have been hypnotized or brain washed since birth. As freely as you believe in Evolution is as freely as I believe in Jehovah. Everything You and I Do, Think, and believe is manual. I don't care what you have to say that's just a solid fact.
aaaazzzzable 1 month ago
What i have learned that origin of life is still mystery. I just like to keep open mind to things that i dont know. If you know how life has became to this planet can you please explane it to me it? I would really like to know! :D Can you make life in laboratory? Isn`t that basis for science that you can support a theory with a for example laboratory test or other kind of proof? If im wrong that it has been done already excuse me. I like to be wrong. if somebody can prove it to me i learn. ;)
AnimaSlim 3 years ago
Well it's a misconception to say that science is only valid if it can be replicated in a laboratory (astronomy & astrophysics would be nonexistent-try making a black hole or red giant). But actually many of the first steps to creating life have been replicated in laboratories, using similar conditions of what probably existed in the primordial ooze (for instance, amino acids, the building blocks of DNA, have been created from scratch). Simple organisms progress to more complex organisms.
dafttool 3 years ago
I would suggest reading a college biology textbook, googling these topics (origins of life, genetics, etc), and even reading the conversation thread presented here. There's just too much to say within a 500 character limit.
dafttool 3 years ago
You can call it as you wish, no problem. :) One thing that is still mystery is how life became to be on earth. Does natural selection happen in nature? Of course.. Does species evolve with time, yeah. Darwins book "origin of species" Written 1984 starts from one cell. It doesn`t explaine from where that cell came. Back then microscopes were pretty crappy and they thought that smallest construct piece of life is cell. Now we know It`s not true. This days science is futures laughing stock.
AnimaSlim 3 years ago
Uuups. Typo. 1854.
AnimaSlim 3 years ago
1859. And no, Origin of Species does not start with one cell.
And even if abiogenesis is not fully solved yet
We are Primates,
We are Apes,
We are African Apes.
This is a scientific fact.

i can not imagine that there r persons who still believe in the old collapsed theory of evolution
breadcrumpsman 3 years ago
Just the vast majority of ALL scientists, researchers, educators & educated people. The only thing that is collapsed are the same old tired arguments against Evolution that are repeatedly dragged out time & again by superstitious people who disregard their continual previous failures & who give more weight to their mythological folk stories than to substantiated scientific findings.
dafttool 3 years ago
majority of ALL scientists, researchers, educators & educated people.[wrong]
mythological folk stories [atheism]
did i mentioned before the funny fact that says that evolution does not deny presence of god
breadcrumpsman 3 years ago
You can deny the truth & validity of Evolution all you like, but that doesn't diminish that truth or validity, only your own ability to accept reality. The mythology I was referring to was a literal interpretation of Genesis. Somehow I imagine you have no problem accepting scientific achievements you favor (computers, medicine, etc). If you had read my comment thread here, you would've seen that I said many times that Evolution & a belief in God are quite compatible concepts.
dafttool 3 years ago
i am not waiting for human science to say that evolution is a collpased theory by evidences eventhoguh science nowdays consider evolution science fiction joke by evidences [ but as i metnioned i was not waiting for them specially that they disapprove it b4 i was born]
the other hint and the big surprise : i am a muslim
breadcrumpsman 3 years ago
Not a surprise at all. And it doesn't change anything I wrote. The Bible & the Koran share essentially the same mythologies surrounding creation. Both are perfectly fine when not taken literally, when taken for spiritual purposes. But they're a poor substitute for a scientific understanding of the nature of reality. You're simply misguided if you believe that Evolution is not the accepted explanation for how life formed. God/Allah may have had a hand in that, but that is immaterial to science.
dafttool 3 years ago
your scientific degree pls ?
breadcrumpsman 3 years ago
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology from the University of Florida and I teach Biology to high school students.
dafttool 3 years ago
you as a zoologist did not u study that the acquired characters are not inherited
did not u study that in seas and oceans water has a special property that the surface only freeze and it keeps itself at 4 degrees to allow the survival of aquatic creatures
do u know that there r an infinite factors that if a one of them is missing no creature would survive ,etc
breadcrumpsman 3 years ago

Strange how they pick and choose their bizarre mistrust of science...
jigen08 3 years ago 2
The zealots actually took me by surprise. For almost a year, this video mostly attracted positive feedback, lulling me into a false sense of calm. But then that Dramatic Lemur video came out, exposing the video to a much larger audience.
Everything in the video is from textbooks, so the people most upset w/it obviously have issues greater than this little video. As you say, they pick & choose what science they like, ignoring that science builds on itself & what doesn't work is thrown out.
dafttool 3 years ago
Oy, the zealots.
(By-the-by, that Dramatic Lemur video is very cute, but (as you probably know) it's not even a lemur in the video; it's a tarsier.)

i believe the bible was made at a time when people were smarter (even scientists cant explain the pyramids and how eygptians ethopians came up with ventalation open heart surgery the renisance in europe) and as time goes on people live shorter t.v. and unhealthy food hold us back theres always been a fight between sciene religion and money but if your truly smart you would see how they ALL work together
souljamentality 3 years ago
You are on the right track ;). I like the way u think. U think like me but ur thoughts have taken you to a bit of a different direction. They do ALL work together, but around 6000 years ago, something happend on earth wich made us seem smarter and we did IMPOSIBLE things which we can only do with techknowlegy today. Something influence humans, and got the ball rolling. But what? Theres a missing link even in evolution. Where we brought here? where we Taught here? Where we bread? The heavens?
FoSace1 3 years ago
Why do humans always seem to refer to the heavens. Was there influences from the sky? It seems to be inprinted in our lives but we just cant see it. Why are there books like the kuran and bible that tell us historical events in such a unique manner almost like an instruction mauaul? Why were there people like prophits? Why are humans so curious creatures? Its like the fucking truman show lol and where all TRUMAN. Who really fucking knows, BUT THERES DEFINATLY MORE THEN WE CAN IMAGINE and KNOW.

I believe that it is also our thoughts over a long period of time which actually physically change us. Subconsciously what we want and need is what we get. Everything could be based on our minds learning process. Slowly evolving, adapting and answering to our brains questions
FoSace1 3 years ago
interesting idea
thehunjo2 3 years ago
A simple example is the guy who created this video. He thought about it in his mind, which trigerd him to create this video which EVOLVED all these reponses.
Every action has a reaction and these reactions create an invinate world over a long long period of time. But then again, fuck if i know.
FoSace1 3 years ago
Just think what man will look like in a few million years... All mater evolves overtime. Just look at technolegy. Even though we are the creators it is still mater in itself which then itself becomes the creator. And i guess this is how the whole universe works but to say who the original creator is, billions and billions of light years away is simply imposible. We can only just use our imaginations which will also ivolve over time because the brain of any mater is the creator.
FoSace1 3 years ago
we might get hairier and get longer arms
who knows i believe evolution to be horizontle not necesarily vertical
like instead of conceptualizing evolution in hierarchical terms i prefer to think of it more like somthing spreading out on an equal horizontle plane. I dont say we evolve up from fish, amphibians, reptiles, cynodants, rodents, monkies, apes etc.. rather i think rathr we evolve away.
catgumart 3 years ago
Hence this is why we all ariginated from africa. Clearly you can see the patern as man spread out of africa over millions of years to different parts of the world where the lifstyle and climent is differnt, man evolved to these conditions. Hence also why black athelets are far more superior. They are the original species of the primate evolution process.
FoSace1 3 years ago
I suggest you check out evilbible . com to read the lines of the bible and see how the bible commands the deaths of millions, wars, rapes, murders and enslavement.
Religion is just fucked up - its the main cause of conflict and allways has been throughout history. It's just something which has been INVENTED by people who felt the need to believe in something.

Those deer were remarkably patient. They used to come and steal the food we put out for the monkeys. The monkeys enjoyed harassing them. In the photo you mentioned, that was the alpha male of the troop. You can see that he's actually quite large compared with the deer.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Its a fact. All life, at least the higher forms of life, are variations on a theme. Isn't God awesome to be able to create so many different designs but all sharing similar features like two eyes, a nose, a mouth, two ears, etc. Makes you want to reject evolution, the big lie.
JDtheMusicMan 3 years ago
you didnt even address any of my response...
TheGoozmon 3 years ago
And no, similar features suggest we all evolved from the same initial cells, and they would suggest that god isn't creative enought to create an original design for everything...
TheGoozmon 3 years ago
Who created initial cells?
JDtheMusicMan 3 years ago
So it is more likely that supernatural magical god was the first thing to appear(And you don't seem to think he needed a creator) than simple cells/particles being the first things to appear(they do need a creator). Thank you, I've seen the light. Is your reasoning "because God is magical he doesn't need an explanation, hes magical after all, simple particles on the other hand are not magical and require an explanation."
TheGoozmon 3 years ago
Ok if you say so but I think you people who beleive this are brain washed by Science and not fact. It is funny really but what ever.

TorchyTD 4 years ago
Ring-tailed lemurs are great. They have scent glands on their wrists so they're all the time rubbing them on branches and things. The one photographed here has a tail two thirds shorter than normal, so he's not nearly as spectacular as an example as I would've liked.

thehunjo 4 years ago
