Now how did McCain expect that throwing a half a grand at each person would remedy ongoing, sky-rocketing health care costs?? Sheesh. Most people are one accident away from a $50,000 -$100,000 hospital bill if they're at the wrong place at the wrong time ... even if they carry top coverage!

McCain mis cited Herbert Hoover. Hoover approved sub-prime loans and lowered taxes for the rich. President Franklin D. Roosevelt raised taxes to get the New deal off the ground and get the war machine cranking so we could support the allies in WWII
