@pongo1111 I used to live in Frankfurt a.M. Germany in 1992. I was passing by a garbage bin and i saw that some guy had been evicted - his GF or wife threw him out as all his stuff was there in the big garbage bin. I saw a vinyl box set of Gianna Nannini. When i saw ME and Bobby McGee in the song list, i brought it home. Great album. Many European musicians are famous all across Europe and we never even heard of them in North America. Not so strange that she is popular in Germany or elsewhere.

The German is because there is a part in the song that sounds like German if you don't understand Italian as a German.

This song is called a "Agathe Bauer" song because of that.
