That wouldn't be surprising, I got Pro Street on PS2 and it really sucks too. They seem to release their games on PS2 just to make even more cash. If you really want to have fun with the NFS games, get it on a newer consol.

i bought it yesterday.

the main problem about it is the 'grinding' leveling system. if you dont know what i mean by that think of the old skool RPGs where you have to do kill lots of monsters in the same method in order to level up. its the same here. you have to win race after race in order to unlock cars, parts etc.

even though there is a free-roam aspect, the story line/leveling is very A-Z with hardly any ability to choose your options.

prostreet, although made by the same company was made by a different team within the company to underground. undercover started production long before other titles and has had more work done on it. the driving engine they have is pretty advanced. the only problem i see with it is the leveling system. tbh they concentrated too much on the movie aspect and driving engine, but forgot the bit that makes a game boring - leveling. the leveling is very simple and repetitive.

NEED FOR SPEED FANS. campare the ps1 NFS4high stakes and the ps3 NFS UNDERCOVER. I think NFS4 is much better, the graphics look better, and definetlly the music. It feels more realistic than this new shit.
