one thing that link didnt explain is how to make your own patterns from siteswap... the rule is for example if i was doing a three ball cascade 333 if you add them all up 3+3+3 = 9 and then get the mean 9/3 = 3 that is the number of balls to juggle... another rule is siteswap patterns cant go down by 1 number eg. 987654321 but its able to go up by numbers 23456, so if you make your own pattern say 342533421 = 27/9 = 3 ball juggling pattern
dude,i really appreciate the video,i am an amateur juggler from Indonesia,Usa jugglers are great! keep up the good work, thanks a million for upload this trick video, its help me to improve my juggling skills:) best regard from Indonesia, have a great days always!
Ok i have a question...: i came up with this trick the goes 55(1,6)(6,1) as a four ball siteswap, however when ever i put it into the siteswap lab it says it's invalid. i can do it, so i know it's possable. is this a siteswap? if not, what is it?
Nice! Thank you! I've been looking for this on the internet EVERYWHERE! Very annoying. So thank you. Also, interesting fact, the average of all siteswap thingies tells you how many balls you need (pretty much)!! 423 = 4+2+3 = 9 = 9 (divided by) 3 = 3! 3 balls! Cool huh? I dunno, just a cool thing i learned off a mathematician friend! Thanks for the tutorial!!
There is a major flaw in your explanation of siteswap! You say that each beat is given a number, but a 4 is 4 beats, not one beat that's called a 4!!!
This video sucks, and this "Steve" guy is an asshole.
Wow what a really clear and understandable tutorial on siteswaps! I'm definitely putting a link to this on my siteswap website (I hope that's ok!)
The only critique I would have is the lack of the 'active 2' or rather that a 2 can leave the hand, but people of course can learn that later if they want I suppose along with all of the other intricacies of siteswap notation.
Oh and Join our siteswap forum! : )
I can't put a link in the comments, but it's on my channel.
this is so useful and clear. it sounds difficult but it gets alot easier. (strangely i find this similar to rubiks cube notation.) (ri-di-r-d, ui-fi-u-f-u-r-ui-ri, and so on)
Thanks!!

@santashead If you can juggle it, then surely it is a working pattern. You probably just don't have the notation quite right.

@JugglingTricks Thx for the responce. I'll probaly make a vid to get help on that notation. ; )
