ok, so let's say Hipote-hypoticaly-hypothetical­ly (I can't spell that word!) that Square enix DOES own the theme song due to some "Anything Geno-related belongs to square enix" clause. That would mean that the only way Geno's theme song could be in brawl would be if geno was in it as a guest character and had Geno's forest as its representative stage wouldn't it?

Pretty sure. I think in-between the JP and NA releases there were reveals regarding supposed deals with SE or something, i can't remember. I know the details were on a SMRPG fansite of some sort, but i don't remember that either.

You and Brawl both are missing out on Mario Party. If you haven't played Mario Party, look up Mario Party-Eternal Star and Mario Party 3-Stardust Battle. Epic themes.

your right, they missed allot of good old-school stuff. nintendo tends to want to go forward recently, and not go that far back to get things, and not try hard when they do.

I dunno about Standard battle (PM), I like the PM2 one better. It actually made want to fight the enemy. Another good song could be Vs Rawkhawk (PM2) and if Paper Mario had become a brawl character, his stage could be the glitz pit.

Um... no. No that was not. That was the airship from SMB3. It was USED in Galaxy, but not as a battle theme.

bowser really got the shaft when it came to the music end of the game they could have used the 1st bowser fight from 64 or koopa road-all hail king koopa

I was agreeing all the way until Waluigi's Pinball "I can forgive"... You can "forgive" it? Come on, that's one of the best Mario themes. =P Though, I do agree that they could've replaced Gritzy Desert or Mario Golf/Tennis with a Mario Galaxy song or something for Bowser. He has plenty of cool themes that would be fun to listen to in a battle, now that I think about it.

What stages would some of those songs fitted into, The geno's forest might have fitted into Luigi's Mansion so would the 3rd Bowser 64 one, but not many of the others

Totally agree about the Bowser thing. Hell, I could have endured "Boom Boom" (Koopaling boss theme SMB3) or Baby bowser's boss theme from Galaxy! They could have done a thrash metal remix of Bowsers 64 final theme, but thats floating around the net already.

I really hope that Nintendo can do something with the Internet connection for Brawl. I hope that they'd be able to put more things in Brawl with updates through the Internet connection, like adding more music or new stages or even more characters.

But they can't, probably because it's just way too complicated or they can't put any more in the CD... Sadly...

Koopa road: SM64

Bowser Final: SM64

Bowser Final: SMG

Just quite a few overlooked songs. Thats why fans cant make the games, they would be 5+ disc sets xD

I would have gladly removed 200 stickers & 100 trophys for 10 more songs.

Square owns the rights to the music in SMRPG.

I do like "Beware the forest mushrooms" but Square didnt come to Sakurai, so no Music or Geno.

Geno's Forest would be perfect for Luigi's Mansion. I don't like any of the songs I have so far for it. I only have the Tetris music set for it and I don't really care it as much but I find it better than the other two I have.
