Well in B.O. I like to to in stealthily with a tactical insertion placed where the enemy spawn.I like to camp in a building but once I see someone in the building, I kill him. I try to go to a different place where I can see him goin in the building and kill him as he is going in many times and start all over. In bf BC 2 I had a feeling that someone was in this building, placed a pair of c4 s on the wall and took 4 dog tags. I guess it depends on how your team handle the situation x)
The bottom line is after you PURCHASE/BUY YOUR copy of the game, you have the right to play it anyway you fucking want to. If you want to "camp"...camp. If you want to run around in the open you can do that too. People will always bitch about something. So while they are bitching, have fun playing the game the way YOU choose to play.

The difference with the campers in both games is in cod u camp to get kills and kill streaks. in BF u camp because the gametype forces you to. In rush its the defenders job to camp and keep the MCOMs safe. in Conquest u have to camp sometimes to keep an area under control. If u run by a camper in cod u just kill him and thats it. In BF if u come by a camper holding an area u need the help from your squad/team to take him out. or take a different route.

In conquest you don't have to camp, you have to survey the land around the objective before you get knifed in the back or you friend gets knifed in the back. @BamfCross Basically, camping DOES serve a purpose in Rush/Conquest, and it's nothing to rage about. I am concerned, however, with how the BF3 pubs(or "puggers" to use a World of Warcraft term) do NOT play seriously but rather to just fuck around.
Even some of my BF3 Live friends get tired of "carrying" the team in this manner. So nice that this game discourages serious individual effort for the team and pigeonholes you to get organized into a clan(which is something I don't have time for).

Campers in BF3 don't really bug me. Since I play Rush all of the time, if someone is camping on defense, then I have to communicate with my team or find a way around to kill him. That is the fun factor in this game for me, actually having to stop think and even communicate with the team to work around a problem, something that is not really present when I play CoD.
In bf3 I noticed it get 10 times more frustration when you run into a camper. I hate BF3 spawning because it takes a while to re-spawn so when your getting by the same faggot ass camper from a distance and you can't tell where the fuck he is camping you feel like ripping someones head off ! COD camping is why I dont play COD anymore. The maps and game modes dont seem designed for camping and it breaks the flow of the game. Battlefeld is exactly that, a battlefield. Different classes, different roles and different tactics.

@HeavyCrackerr Heres the thing. CoD is known as a twitch shooter, encouraging lone wolf gameplay. Which is why camping doesn't last long. Battlefield is team-based, and camping is encouraged. Its called "entrenching". If you're playing on console, your player limit is going to put a lid on the size of your squad. If a squad is entrenched in a position, the idea is that you overwhelm them with tactics, rather than running in guns blazing.
@HeavyCrackerr How can you "camp" on conquest or rush modes when these modes are about defending or attacking points? If you find a window that has a nice overlook of your enemy's likely route to the objective, you would be stupid not to try to use it. I do it... and when people do it to me, I flank them or just blow the window in with an RPG so that the enemy is exposed and can't use that spot as easily in the future. Fighting "campers" with a shotgun, rpg and grenades is fun and effective.
I bet you were the type who accused defenders in CS of being camping bastards for actually defending the hostages using corners, rooftops, crates, doorways, windows or whatever rather than walking into wide open spaces where you can get at them easily.
The way i see it is CoD is a fast paced game n campers breakup the flow of the game. bf3 with the size of the maps it doesnt get the camper many kills
BF killcams are better if you want to know where your killer is. I played BC2 last night, and I can tell you that COD is going to be in it's cover for quite some time.
In BC2 you can show people the position of an enamy, cant you do that in BF3? I see a sniper, really a killer, and i cant really reach him, so i show you where he is. Or i would just take a tank in the first place :D COD? Well, if it wasnt for choppers, maybe it would be fine :p
And I agree, the campers in this game are far worse. They can post up in one spot and because the map is so damn big he can be set the entire game. In COD you know that guy will get his. All in all, this is a far more realistic game and I guess that is where you have to draw a line. Do you want realism or arcade gameplay? I enjoy both and hate both but if I had to choose, after playing this game for a couple days, I prefer the arcade gameplay. I might keep this game but I'm def getting MW3 now.
I wanted this game to be something to take me away from COD but it made me realize how much I prefer the arcade style more than this. When a team works together its satisfying as hell and its fun then. But I spend far more time looking for people than I do shooting my gun and that's boring to me. Getting shot and not knowing where the guy is coming from is frustrating as hell as is the spawn points. I can shoot a guy spot on and light him up but he'll tap me twice and that's it for me.
BF is more of a simulation type of war game and teamwork is necessary. So with that being said, you will have guys that snipe and guys that rush. I'm not a camper, but I can understand why it happens in BF.
BF is a strategic game that require planning not just one player rampaging all over the battlefield, so it completely normal that there are camper everywhere to lock down objectives

In your videos, I usually couldn't agree more with you. But in this one, IMO you were talking a lot of bollocks. CoD campers camp in one spot in the map where the most traffic in the game is so you drop dead even before you see him most of the time in my experience. On Battlefield, if someone is camping a spot, go one of the other 7 directions to the objective so he can't kill you. But if your talking about TDM, then that's not Battlefield, that's a game mode they made for CoD people.

The thing is about campers in BF3 is that you can flank them and kill them. You can't really flank in COD because the maps are small and straight forward.

I disagree. It's much more frustrating to deal with a CoD camper. You know why? Because of perks like Ghost. There's so many ways to counter campers in Battlefield, plus, let them camp.... You don't get REWARDED for camping (killstreaks).
For me, campers are more annoying in CoD because that starts the killstreak counter over again. In Battlefield you can just spawn on your squad, specifically so you don't have to run all the way across the map again.
In the end, you can't really compare CoD and Battlefield. One is a run-and-gun FPS, and the other is a tactical, team based FPS.
all i can say is move from cover to cover. dnt just run, plan where u want to be and where u can possibly get shot from. a marine friend of mine taught me that.

I traded in battlefield the other day, and i can say that BF3 campers are more challenging to kill than Call of Duty campers. The Killcam is a big plus for Call of Duty as well as the simple HUD. The only time u can really detect a camper on BF3 is if your in a moving squad and u spectate over on of your teamates. They are both different when it comes to gameplay on the multiplayer, but even though i dont play anymore id say Call of Duty is more fun to play (Because of the easy to kill campers.)

Campers in BF3 don't really bug me. Since I play Rush all of the time, if someone is camping on defense, then I have to communicate with my team or find a way around to kill him. That is the fun factor in this game for me, actually having to stop think and even communicate with the team to work around a problem, something that is not really present when I play CoD.

COD camping is why I dont play COD anymore. The maps and game modes dont seem designed for camping and it breaks the flow of the game. Battlefeld is exactly that, a battlefield. Different classes, different roles and different tactics.
It annoys me in both but COD easily bugs me more. Mainly because idiots hide in corners of rooms. When I come across a camper on Battlefield camping in the corner of a room, I know he has come from COD and I be glad when COD3 comes out and they all fuck off.

I make it my duty to kill any camping bitch that kill me, in cod i just run back to the room, throw a flash in, then drop the camping fag, but in BF3 the camper normally has a long line of sight, so i can't just run to his spot, so i have to flank the fagget by going around the other side of the map (takes fucking forever), and i usually run into other enemies on my way to kill the camper, so i would say campers in BF3 are more annoying becuz of all the work u gotta put in to kill them

@HeavyCrackerr Heres the thing. CoD is known as a twitch shooter, encouraging lone wolf gameplay. Which is why camping doesn't last long. Battlefield is team-based, and camping is encouraged. Its called "entrenching". If you're playing on console, your player limit is going to put a lid on the size of your squad. If a squad is entrenched in a position, the idea is that you overwhelm them with tactics, rather than running in guns blazing.

@HeavyCrackerr How can you "camp" on conquest or rush modes when these modes are about defending or attacking points? If you find a window that has a nice overlook of your enemy's likely route to the objective, you would be stupid not to try to use it. I do it... and when people do it to me, I flank them or just blow the window in with an RPG so that the enemy is exposed and can't use that spot as easily in the future. Fighting "campers" with a shotgun, rpg and grenades is fun and effective.

And I agree, the campers in this game are far worse. They can post up in one spot and because the map is so damn big he can be set the entire game. In COD you know that guy will get his. All in all, this is a far more realistic game and I guess that is where you have to draw a line. Do you want realism or arcade gameplay? I enjoy both and hate both but if I had to choose, after playing this game for a couple days, I prefer the arcade gameplay. I might keep this game but I'm def getting MW3 now.

I wanted this game to be something to take me away from COD but it made me realize how much I prefer the arcade style more than this. When a team works together its satisfying as hell and its fun then. But I spend far more time looking for people than I do shooting my gun and that's boring to me. Getting shot and not knowing where the guy is coming from is frustrating as hell as is the spawn points. I can shoot a guy spot on and light him up but he'll tap me twice and that's it for me.

In your videos, I usually couldn't agree more with you. But in this one, IMO you were talking a lot of bollocks. CoD campers camp in one spot in the map where the most traffic in the game is so you drop dead even before you see him most of the time in my experience. On Battlefield, if someone is camping a spot, go one of the other 7 directions to the objective so he can't kill you. But if your talking about TDM, then that's not Battlefield, that's a game mode they made for CoD people.

The thing is about campers in BF3 is that you can flank them and kill them. You can't really flank in COD because the maps are small and straight forward.

Honestly, neither camper is that bad for me. As long as you can out-smart the camper (which really isn't that hard most of the time), they really don't pose much of an issue for me. Yea, BF campers are a bit more annoying than CoD campers, but I really don't see the big deal about campers.

I'd have to agree that Campers on BF are more frustrating then COD just because of how many levels of play there are in the game. You got buildings with floor, you got abandon shops, you got debiree, and a multitude of other things that allow a person to hide and pick people off. Wheras COD is more tight quaters and smaller maps so you can find people a lot easier.

For me, campers are more annoying in CoD because that starts the killstreak counter over again. In Battlefield you can just spawn on your squad, specifically so you don't have to run all the way across the map again.
In the end, you can't really compare CoD and Battlefield. One is a run-and-gun FPS, and the other is a tactical, team based FPS.

I traded in battlefield the other day, and i can say that BF3 campers are more challenging to kill than Call of Duty campers. The Killcam is a big plus for Call of Duty as well as the simple HUD. The only time u can really detect a camper on BF3 is if your in a moving squad and u spectate over on of your teamates. They are both different when it comes to gameplay on the multiplayer, but even though i dont play anymore id say Call of Duty is more fun to play (Because of the easy to kill campers.)
