Well, they've had cats chase bears out of their yards. If it's their house, or family - as in a fellow pet (the elderly dog) or their human - they can be fearless. Well, depends on the cat. I've had a cat that attacked and chased off a burgler. But we also have a cat that is afraid of birds - even sparrows.
From my Attention we Have a Iguana, Parakeet, Bunch of fish, and 3 cats. i got 2 of them a couple days ago, One cat clicked and went off viciously, but we calmed him down. the other Is shy and always purrs all the time. there kittens and we have a old kitten. From my point of view this video couldnt be any affectionate to my kittens then ever was.
@Mr7gameboy Although it's very possible that the constantly purring cat is just doing it due to it's current nervousness, but please keep an eye on that one. A neighbours cat started coming into my place a while back purring all the time. It turned out that she was seriously ill with a cancer. And the vet confirmed that sometimes a cat will purr when it is very sick, in pain or scared. The purring is the cat's subconscious attempt to feel better.

@Mr7gameboy Although it's very possible that the constantly purring cat is just doing it due to it's current nervousness, but please keep an eye on that one. A neighbours cat started coming into my place a while back purring all the time. It turned out that she was seriously ill with a cancer. And the vet confirmed that sometimes a cat will purr when it is very sick, in pain or scared. The purring is the cat's subconscious attempt to feel better.

@MeOnYT Cats are smarter than dogs but dogs are happier, more loyal, friendly and playful animals. 1/5 cats are playful and protective. The rest usually like to sit a corner by themselves.

@mmedefarge Cats feel a compunction to defend whomever they are bonded to. My cat defends our own front door, as well as me and my puppy. Like lions, some will live in "prides." Like my own outdoor/indoor rescue cats of five, who are not related, are glued to protecting and supervising each other 24.7. A 'herd' of strays in my neighborhood do the same, whom always run in numbers at night. I remember seeing them sit around one of their dead comrades in the middle of an empty street one night.

I hardly see humans taking out the "time" to invest in cats to even "find out," [having cat is having a jungle in your house, thus why their hunting is beneficial] but when some have, splendid turnabouts have been fished out of them. They're looking for an invested bond built on equal rank; all of my kitties have been guardian angels.

@Romeu021 LMAO!!! I am a cat lover , but you are so right!! Cats do volunteer at senior homes and stuff though with arthritis programs and such and they help keep our blood pressure low apparently.They are also great rodent repellent and actually do work on fishing boats, at packing plants Etc, And as others have pointed out, they are, by their own nature just efficient calorie savers And, c'mon..dogs don't chew up shoes, piss on the carpet and bark for hours?
