thank you everyone who has commented! I was so sad when my dad came home and told me he had died. i was so happy i had these pictures because i had to beg to go the day we did or else i wouldn't have gone until summer and never would have seen him but the begging was worth it!
Thank you for sharing. Alysheba was one of my favorites ever since I saw his 2 yr old Breeders Cup race. I was fortunate to see him at Santa Anita a few times. Even saw him getting a post workout cool down and bath from Jack Van Berg. A beautiful, talented athlete.
he was MUCH shorter then i thought he would but he carried himself with so much grace and such beautiful confronmation it was clear he was a champion and he knew it. he may be old but he has not forgotten his racing days and still has some good muscle to prove it.
Greatest horse to ever look through a bridle! Falls down twice in the Kentucky Derby, gets up and wins anyway..........
