  • I've had mine since Friday! Absolutely STUNNING amp! The best sound I've ever had! And I've still not yet taken it past volume 1! Can't wait to get this badboy on a stage and really push those valves!

  • Does anyone know if this amp could handle doing old school metal like Iron Maiden or Judas Priest? I'd imagine so, but just wondering if anyone knows :P

  • @MetalLeg73 Easily! If you have EMGs it's even crunchier! I was playing today on the OD2 channel through an LTD Viper 407. Plenty enough gain to more than handle Priest or Maiden :-)

  • I bought this amp and replaced the celestion 70/80s with G12t75 and whoooooooaaaaa when I bought it I didn't think it could get any better until I did that.. I was wrong

  • Do all them guitars come with the amp?

  • @w3llhard lol no..

  • can someone help me out here. I just got this amp, and whenever I am not playing I can hear an annoying ambient noise. It's especially loud on the overdrive channels with moderate gain. It can be heard on louder clean channels too. Also, I know it's not my guitar's problem

  • I shall have this amp very soon! Cannot wait! Already have a HT-5R for the bedroom and trust me, these amps deliver! And they're bloody loud!

  • @nocrezvitus I just got a HT 5R as well, and to be honest I think that it sounds as good as this one

  • @Barefoot67 It is an amazing little amp! I have a HT 1R now too, and I've used both in the studio for recording as well as small open mic gigs (ie no drummer lol) and they sound amazing! I'll be ordering the HT 60 Stage this week so that will be my gigging amp! And judging by how much volume I get out of the HT-5R, I'm quite looking forward to cranking this badboy on stage :-)

  • Would this be good for like bigger clubs? I'm out in Nashville TN so the clubs vary in size.

  • @RayLeGrandIIIMusic My guess is that 60W is good enough to play in a medium to big-sized bar without going above volume level 6 (which would give you gain saturation). If it's a Nashville big bar (probably really big bars there) or places where people talk too loud, maybe you would have to mic it or try to use the emulated output it has to a mixer and P.A. system (not sure it works that way, though).

  • @marcoamf1977 thanks I'll probably end up getting this then I'll shoot for that 100 watt head and a cab for it cause some of the clubs here are big. But I think even the big ones could work with the 60, I cant believe I didn't think of micing. Thanks

  • does it have good distortion for metal?

  • @Max45090 be sure,it does

  • at the moment I've got a zt club amp which is light and loud but only has a clean channel and is ss I've also got a ht5 but it'd struggle in my band. So,I'm toying with the idea of getting a ht 40 or 60 but those would be heavy to lift so I was wondering if the ht dual pedal would be a close approximation?

  • Is this amp good for playing heavy metal in a bar?

  • @bonbro I don't think that playing heavy metal in a bar is a good idea in the first place, but the answer is: yes,it is good for that matter

  • Blackstar ftw. Ive got the 50w stack. good amps.

  • Played this at my local yesterday - can't decide b/t this and the soloist just yet, but they both rock. I can't even look at a fender any longer. It'll probably be this one - I can always boost with a pedal and save the second OD channel for a more varied tone. It will be merry XMAS to myself. Great playing.

  • I fuckin' love this amp.. I bought it and it's sounds like fuckin hell.. awesome

  • @TheSyty I play both blues and metal does the amp got both ?

  • @scrubnuub yes..it can play metal from death to heavy .. and without problems I got from this jazz and blues sound..

  • Blackstars are awesome!!!

  • @2:10

  • im stuck between this and a marshall vintage modern. I play alot of old school rock but my band plays modern rock. Im looking for something with balls and lots of mids to get that heavy tone. any suggestions?

  • @varone6t9 for one thing, try them out first if you can. If you can't , go for the Stage 60. It is phenomenal value. And made by ex Marshall guys

  • my only question before i go out and decide to buy this because its probably the only tube amp i can carry at its size, and sounds awesome....is it LOUD? i need to be at a higher volume cuz my dummer cant hear me on my peavy 75 watt no tube

  • @xlxfinaldeathwishxlx It's pretty damn loud man! :)

  • @xlxfinaldeathwishxlx a transitstor 75 watt amp has no head room , if you use this the jump in volume will be huge, its about the equivalent of a 200 watt transistor amp flat out. Tube amps at 50/60 watts will be good for any gig, especially these animals i am very impressed with the Blackstar amps

  • @xlxfinaldeathwishxlx as loud as you need. It's as loud as my Plexi and that's LOUD!

  • What does everyone think of the clean tone? :)

  • @andrewlawther I played one at Grandmas's Music and Sound In Albuq NM..... Just like a Fender. Serious,

  • @andrewlawther clean tone is awesome too. Try one out , you'll be impressed. I tried about a dozen amps out before choosing this one. They are back ordered, that's how popular they are. Just make sure the shippers double box it; the original box is not strong enuf for an amp this heavy

  • which song is in te begining ? from 0:00 to 0:30

  • can it do an All That Remains tone?

  • Can you get a good led zeppelin tone out of it?

  • is it good enough for gig? Thanx

  • @ArmandoGT1 Yep, mine sounds great...in larger than medium clubs you can mic up like you would with any amp unless you want to Di straight into the pa as it has the connections to do so but i havent needed to as this kicks serious ass

  • Great Demo. Perfect

  • Thats what im talking about: lots of good playin, not just blah blah blah. I think im going to buy this amp

  • @ewmehmo go and buy it.. i have it and I fuckin like it!..

  • have a squiz at my ht on bedroom low volume OD /watch?v=Cdj5esqkEDg

  • Anyone know if Blackstar has good customer service?

  • @eaf5153 When i emailed them late night they replied at 8am the next morning, so i'm guessing yeah they do

  • @eaf5153 built like tanks so not needed to contact them as of yet!

  • I bought your Ht-1 model, now I'm kinda addicted to these... I'll buy this one if I'll ever have money

  • Nice legs... but it's not a 68 plexi

  • Been playing 20 years, this is the Best new brand on the market and I haven't played a better amp in this price bracket ever! Got one of these HT Stage 60's and will NOT sell it! Does every style easy, sounds great with ot without pedals. If it Sh#ts itself I'll buy another one no doubt!

  • @pbest75 me2 got rid of my egnater renegade for it, unreal amp and tone!!!!! crazy beasy of an amp and i have been searchin for it for a long long long time!!!!!!!

  • I love how you can get both fender like cleans with really good overdrive and distortion.

  • Seriously considering buying this amp. How does it handle the heavier tones like for hard rock-metal? im trying to get that classic gnr sound from appetite.

  • @slashfan7777 spot on for GnR stuff dude, we do Paradise city and sweet child and it does a great job...I do Steel panther stuff through it too ;)

  • @slashfan7777 spot on for GnR stuff dude, we do Paradise city and sweet child and it does a great job...I do Steel panther stuff through it too ;) The other guitarist in my band as the Marshall tsl 100w and the Blackstar 60w sounds sweeter than that!

  • @chrisdoyle72 nice dude seroiusly thinking about it but im gonna have to go check it out myself next time i go to guitar center. I appreciate your help!

  • the power on this is unreal! tried it out today, on OD2 its as loud as my 80w solid state when its as quiet as it can go :L no good as a practice amp though, but the 40w has only two channels, and the soloist would probably be too loud as well...

  • It's weird.. The distortion is too dry on this amp....

  • You need to have the master up to get really decent sounds its not the best with master low etc but fair enough as its not a practice amp. Sorry blackstar but the demos are not doing this amp justice you need some better demo's, more cleans , medium breakup ,more strats etc and there are settings that get a good stevie , john mayer type tone that people would probably like. also the amp sounds sweeter if you crank the volumes on the od channels but keep the gains lower.

  • well, im buying one myself in a few days. I tried it and must tell you it sounds great, especially clen channel and OD1 are really cool. the amp is a bit big and heavy, but it sounds more like huge standalone amplifier. the spund is rather versatile, could be used for both blues, rock or even metal. try it yourselves! it's worth it

  • I would recommend going out and trying one of these...I tried 2 today, the 20 and the 60 and I didn't really click with them...they might sound better when turned up louder but the sound I'm hearing here sounds very similar to the sound I got from the Peavey classic 30.....sold well made amps and I'm sure they are great...deeper tones etc...I really was hoping to hear this sound but I didn't....

  • @stevoe1000 well it all depends on your guitar, pickups ect. dont ever expect to hear the sound you hear in a video

  • @fraser149 yes that was my point...

  • It's way loud enough for gigs, cause I have one and have gigged it loads of times, I've also invested in the htv 2x12 extension cab too. The sound is stunning and for the price it's a steel!!! These amps are only gonna get moe expensive as blackstars reputation grows.... And be sure it's growing very fast... Move over Marshall there's a new guy in town doing it all sooo much better!

  • @twonkytwonk "it's a steel" The type of "steel" you were referring to is iron mixed with carbon :) the one you meant to use is steal.

Bored and felt compelled to tell you,

Also i agree Blackstar is the new bigboy in town and a lot of the pros are starting to turn to them.

  • What can I say,it sounds great.

  • Having Sam ash order one for me to try out! I can't wait.

  • is this amp loud? i have a fender fm 100 watt and it sounds terrible. i was thinking about geting upgrading to the ht 60 but im not sure if it will be loud enough. i love the tones! sounds amazing but will it be loud enough for small venues? i was looking at the marshall ma100c too.

  • @buddyruckus9 Buddy, valve amps are a lot louder than solid state amplifiers, it will surely be loud enough :p But you might want to try it out first for yourself :)

  • @GustavoSampaioLP yes i plan on trying it, my local music is suppose to get some in at the end of the summer.

  • @buddyruckus9 This amp is 10x louder than it needs to be. I have never played it over 1/3 of its volume at any gig, outside, big hall, nothing... I actually play out of a 15 watt tube amp more now due to the fact this amp is a tank and it is loud as hell. I miss the sweet tones but love the 60lb difference in weight I lug in each night!

  • Sounded like he was playing the theme from the A-team at around 0:40.

    Nice amp.

  • damn that Vanquish is nice

  • Can anyone explain why there is no Midrange on the Clean channel on the Stage 60 or the Stage 100 head? I cannot get a reply from Blackstar's website at all.

  • that last sound test with the p90s sounds like fuckin classic creamy goodness DAMN!

  • how does this amp sound at practice volumes?

  • @tangypasta it sounds great on lower volumes, but best if you crank it ;)

  • this is the AMP!! its so versatile!!

  • i have no sound on thi computer so can any one tell me if this amp is good for heavy metal ?

  • the tuning of the tele, is it DADGAD ?

    nice vid!!! :D

  • Witch one is better - Blackstar HT 60 stage or Marshall MA100C ??? .For playing not too heavy stuff in the band..

  • @kursunyata HT 60 is good for almost every kind of rock music.. very nice cleans, great overdrive, super versatile and tweakable.. and VERY loud too! :)

  • Nice, what speakers are in this amp? It says celestions, I am assuming seventy 80's if they don't specify.

  • still undecided between this amp , and Egnater Renegade 2x12 combo

  • What a versatile litle amp. Given the appearance and name, I was expecting an amp pretty much geared soley for metal. I was wrong :V

  • would like to see a demo with this amp using a guitar with EMGS or Blackouts and some heavy riffs. possibly drop tuning

  • @jortiz77437 emgs are gay. faggot.

  • @jortiz77437 listen to andy james, plays ltd ec-1000 through blackstar amps

  • Are there loudspeaker outs and an fx loop on the back?

  • Awesome amp!... the guitar at 2:25 looks like the Vanquish Oli Brown model..... and coincidently he is now endorsed by Blackstar as well

  • Neat !

  • damn for me the sound at 0:53 sells me. classic fender spanking clean

  • These sound like amazing amps, and what is the guitar at 2:25?

  • Maybe it's PRS ?

  • Looks like a Vanquish

  • It would have been perfect Amp if they include the attenuator they have on the Series One..

  • I agree that would put this amp over the top

  • @Zhorellski Agree, that besides all the amazing things about my series 1/100's was a huge selling point for me because some gigs are very small and fiding the sweet spot for good tone on a tube head can be a real problem at a small gig.Good to see a C.O. that gets it,tonal option Versatility /Tons of gain/great cleans what can you say, these amps can do it all and do it all amazingly.Blackstar convert for life now,Cant imagine a better amp than my series 1/100's for what I do.

  • @Zhorellski There is a master control volume. This does significantly impact on the overall volume levels so even if you have the volume cranked to 11 on either the clean or gain channel it's not that loud, and you can still get that valve breakup effect.

  • great amp when will we see them in the U.S.A.?

  • the overdrive' sound great!! i hope the clean comes over better in real life tho than on this vid.. the clean doesn't sound wonderful here imo.

  • sounds mint!

    Love the blackstar stuff!

  • 60 watt valve .. sadly this will be too loud !

I too would love a 20 watter .. come one Blackstar .. you know you wanna !

But I guess the 45 (which can be turned down) already does this.

  • What's the pricing of this line?

  • Holy Shit this is what Ive been praying for and it looks like my prayers have been answered. After playing my HT-5 for the last year Ive always wanted a bit more power, I just hope this comes in a head version.

  • HT-20 head! yes please!

  • i have te series one 100 but this amp is unreal!!

  • HIGH GAIN PLEASE!!!! Im weak at the knees at the thought of this HT-20 head.

  • Where's the metal?

  • they are teasing us

  • yeah, we want to hear teH br00tz

  • He wasn't showing what it can do with pedals.

Of course you can boost the amp with an overdrive pedal to get metal tones.

  • Nice!

  • all i can say is FUCK YES!

  • I have an HT-5 and I love it! Thanks for making such a great little amp and such a reasonable price! Now....comeon! Let's see an HT-20 combo! Can't wait for that!

  • My gear prayers are answered! Please do vids of all the Venue line products.

  • AWESOMEEEEEEEEE
