I found this lecture to be good and pretty accurate. I come from a family where my mom and her side are faith-bearing practicing Muslims and she is a sunday school teacher at the local mosque and my father and his side are the 'i go to the mosque once a year and thats for eid' type. This lecture really hit home with me. Props to Brother Nouman.

I became muslim fully about 5 months before this event, and I will say that not only does ICNA provide lectures, talks, and activities that are not imaan booster shot. Rather, an Imaan terminally ill disease that no matter what dunya medication you put yourself through as fitna, the reminders of the disease will way you down and you'll accept the want to die in a state of perfect Islam (weird analogy i know but kinda works lol)

@oombuddah Nouman Ali Khan is actually not a doctor. He does teach arabic at the Bayyinah Institute, which is a private school he and some of his colleagues founded in Irving, TX.

He was a professor of Arabic at Nassau County Community College in Long Island, NY a few years ago.

Most of the videos you see will say Br. Nouman Ali Khan, meaning "brother."

A great lecture, as usual. I hope that clears up any misconceptions about Brother Nouman.
