The 1990's was the Golden Age of Nintendo. The recent DK game the only thing you do with a golden banana is eat a bit of it which is the size of DK and get high and go into a land with fruit and terrorist bomber mouses. I will always love you 1990's. My N64 still works. People don't appreciate Nintendo's work the way they used too. Microsoft stole the popularity of Nintendo. They took there games and turned them into shit.

Nintendo has mario,dk, and etc. Nintendo actually makes, in my opinion, real games instead of the same old boring shooter that Microsoft always craps out. @bitchasswolfboy its as much as a collectathon as super mario 64 was if that answers your question at all. the bottom line is you can keep playing through the game and getting to the boss naturally without having to stop and start collecting stuff, at least for the main story. the collecting aspect is mainly for the people that want to get 100%.
