The big problem here is that Frosty is a secular song that is appropriate for singing anytime in the winter. It is about a make believe winter character. It and many other secular Christmas songs are connected to the celebration of Winter or the Winter Solstice. A Christmas Carol is a song designed to be sung at Christmas with a religious aspect suitable for singing in a church.

@eyesk8er Actually, this song (and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer) are connected to Gene Autry, the WWII veteran and Western Singer/Actor. Scholarly accounts play the birth of Jesus in November, in April, but rarely in December, so the only problem here is that people would associate Christmas with Winter - and that's the church's doing, not the work of subversive pagans.
