China fell into a deep sleep at the fall of the Ming Dynasty. I'm happy to say that the dragon nation has reawakened. I pray they soon will be completely released from the shackles of Communism ( a barbaric Western invention).

I truly hate the perception that most White Boys have on ancient european soldiers !...(Good Example) ----> The movie 300 !
In reality the average roman, trojan, spartan, and whatever else soldier were probably a bunch of poor skinny white boys snatch from the country side and have no knowledge of warfare, and probably was scared to death !.
Back in the days no one hardly had any food. Unlike today !, White people are fucking ogres living off of process food laced with hormones
one of the Great Asian Countries. West sucked up all the treasures, exploit people, and ruled for 100 of years by dominating them. but guess what NO one can control the talent, imagination especially the talented people. now look it again the Asia is on rise an almost near to top (China, Indian, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh and more).
China truly has a great history and culture. Too bad the today culture is not comparable during Empress Wu reign in the Tang dynasty. During that time, equality and different ideas flourished. I wish Chang'an city survived. Would love to travel and shop in an ancient city.
If European knights and soldiers were so strong, so well trained, so knowledgeable of war combat, so battle harden, and so god-like then how come when Ghengis Khan set out to conquer the world and expanded west right into Europe no one could stop him ?.
The only reason why the Mongols went back home was because Ghengis Khan died and they saw no more reason to take over a bunch of primative savages

@HistoryHmoobGuy You are going to tell me the Romans had no idea how to plant crop or grow food? Now that is funny, when Rome was the first city in history to reached a population of one million & more...
You are going to tell me that Rome could not support a huge army? Yet a bit over 600,000 to no less then 300,000 troops is & was not large? That is about the same size army that Han had. But with most of them being disciple harden professional troops; something the Chinese lacked in.
@xxTeutonicKnightxx disciple harden professional troops ?LOL AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
SEE ! whenever people think about romans they automaticaly think about the movie 300 where the average soldier is well over 6 feet tall and have muscles like a body builder and have skills like an MMA fighter.........YOU SERIOUSLY THINK THEY WERE LIKE THAT ? LOL

@HistoryHmoobGuy No, I am not thinking of Spartans or the movie 300, but of ROMANS, I read a lot of books! I do not get these facts from movies or TV. The fact is Roman troops were disciple harden professional troops, that is what is very known about them, just like US Marines! So yes, THEY were more or less like MMA fighters because that is a living of a PROFESSIONAL soldier back then, you had to fight for your life in a FULL TIME ARMY. Not so much as Auxiliaries, or Militia...
@xxTeutonicKnightxx so the roman soldiers were elite discipline soldiers but yet the Chinese were just a bunch of short slant eyed chink with no power, no skills, no training, no nothing ? .......LOL
In reality the Romans were just a bunch of skinny starving young men from the country side with no knowledge of war.
The Chinese soldiers were some of the most battle harden and are equiped with some of the most advance weapons of their time.
@HistoryHmoobGuy I did not say they that or I did not say they had no power, no discipline, or no training. THE CHINESE DID have that. Both had elite discipline soldiers and militias, Auxiliaries, and part time troops. It is just was not up to par with the Romans... The thing is the back bone of Chinese military were militias, Auxiliaries, conscripts, and part time troops. The back bone of Roman’s military were full time professionals troops...
@xxTeutonicKnightxx If rome was sooooooooooooo powerful then how come when Genghis Khan's army was at their door step they didnt do shit but run like a bunch of bitches ?.
The Chinese have more soldiers and have better weapons then the mongols
Asian people are naturally smart and naturally good at war...Even today America millitary school read and follow Sun Tzu's teaching...White people use to love to go to war with Asian but lately it has been with Arab people - they are easier to beat
@HistoryHmoobGuy Genghis Khan's army??? That is after the Western part of the Roman Empire. Are you thinking of the Holy Roman Empire? They are manly Germans & some Italians ... No, they were not that close to Germany or Italy, I think they did stop by at a huge Holy Roman Castle at Austria but never attacked it or went any farther west…
@HistoryHmoobGuy Asian people are naturally smart? But yet just Germany alone had the most Nobel pries winners before the1970s. And Europeans are still making new things today, the USA; we just buy it from them and call it ours… (No joke)
@xxTeutonicKnightxx China has been stopped in time in Qing dynasty, now Communism is freezing China in time too along with colonial pressure. Count how many years of frozen time that is. Before China was frozen by Qings, Communists and colonial aggressors, China was a heart of science and inventions, and invented almost everything that Europeans used to create things today, when China is being frozen... One day, Middle Kingdom will return...
@GuitarDestroyer77777 Dude, my point is that many respected nations today have invented things today and in the past, not, just, China. There are plenty of things that come from Europe and yes China too as well as from the mid east. That is my point.
I am trying to say that Europe was equal to China not better...
China was the haert of Sciens, yes true, but so was Greece, Germany and Italy... The Germans are known to be a culture of engineers ever scens they Greek/Romanized...
@xxTeutonicKnightxx Look at what you have been writing, my friend. You see, the eternal truth is that we all are humans, and no matter who invents something, it was invented by a human, one shall not consider his/her nationality and thus divide him/her from others. I am not saying China is the best, neither the Europe is, I am only saying that we need to respect each other and know what is truth and what is a lie. You are the one who is praising Europe here, and disdain China and others...
@xxTeutonicKnightxx Oh, and another thing, Huns (with all their military and at the peak of their power) attacked Han dynasty, and, of course, Huns suffered greatly and THAT was the reason why they migrated to Europe, they migrated to Europe with an army that was left, much much less powerful before an attack on China. And then, they burned Romans, so Rommies had to make a deal and give them a lot of gold in order to evade chaos. Praising Rome is like praising Hitler. Romans were exterminators.
@GuitarDestroyer77777 The Huns came when Rome was at it's weakest point in history... The Roman Empire was falling then... The Huns had little to do with it...
Romans were exterminators? Everyone did killings & all that mess, even the Chinese did the same... The thing is the Romans were a bit more of builders then exterminators… We also tend to praise the winners & more so the one who builds our world...
@xxTeutonicKnightxx Rome was powerful back then when Huns attacked. But I know you won't accept it, anyway, Romans were conquerors and exterminators and they haven't built our world they've only destroyed it. China is an amazing builder (Great Wall, pyramids, Chang'an, etc. And when did Chinese kill people? Also, Romans are no better than Hitler, they've exterminated Carthaginians to population 0. And when Romans were establishing their empire, China was already the world most advanced...
@xxTeutonicKnightxx Also, when we talk about building society, China had Confucian, Taoist and Shenist rituals and practices, also a great contribution to Buddhism. Among it's friends in Four Great Civilizations group, China is the world most incredible one. Europe was behind, only Greeks and ancient Celtic tribes deserve honor. Rome and others deserve severe punishment...
@GuitarDestroyer77777 What are you talking about? There were just as much war or killings in that part of the world as there were in others. That sort of thing is not just limited to Europe…
Ok look what are you trying to talk about here? Philosophy or Religion? So Christianity does not shear good morals or values? Also when it comes to the power to the people or Individualism that is more of a European/Western philosophy, modern-day I think it is a bit over kill...
@xxTeutonicKnightxx Look, do not be impure, Romans exterminated Carthaginian people to zero population, there was probably a small group of people that got away from Carthage, but the rest was exterminated, men, women and children, all dead. Christianity is connected to Buddhism, thus I love Christianity, but you make Christianity look bad, look what Spaniards were doing to their people and to the Natives. And anyone can have it's own life, thus individualism is present in all societies.
@GuitarDestroyer77777 The Carthaginian Sacrifice kids. Spaniards were doing to their people and to the Natives? And Aztics were great Human beings? Dude you are not geating my point, let me put it very simple; a Human does not have to be a White man to make Empires or to be a exterminator... This acks are found just about all parts of the world... I did not say individualism is not present in all societies, I sad it was MORE of a Western philosophy or culture...
@xxTeutonicKnightxx Carthaginians weren't flowers either you see. There were a lot of terrible acts done to people of Carthage by Carthage. But it was nothing close to extermination, what Rommies did. And about humans, I agree, read my comments and you'll see that I'm saying we are all humans and all the same. And why is individualism present "MORE" in European society? That's wrong, individualism is present everywhere. You should read The Analects and you'll see...
@xxTeutonicKnightxx You, respect Roman terror, like most of the Europeans, you praise Europe and disdain Middle Kingdom (China), this is impure act. I, on the other side, believe in equality of all, men and women, religions and ethnicities and all cultures of our ancestors. I do not make a difference between a Chinese and Arab, European and Native American etc. You are the one who is dividing and praising bad side of Europe, because you are as arrogant as others who are destroying this world..
@GuitarDestroyer77777 I respect Roman terror? No I do not, and I did not disdain Middle Kingdom (China). Praising bad side of Europe? Like what have I said that is praising bad side of Europe? The Germans are known to be a culture of engineers? Romans had a very strong Empire? Europe had things to contribute just as well?
@xxTeutonicKnightxx Of course that Europeans had a lot to contribute to the world, we are humans, and all humans contribute to the world one way or another. On example, one of my favorite historical people is Da Vinci. And he's an European, more precisely a human being. Just as Kong Tzu (Confucius) being one of my favorite and he's Chinese, but before everything else, a human being...
@HistoryHmoobGuy Trust me, I never intended to argue with him, neither should you, but when someone is disdaining China and praising Europe for everything then it is really terrible. I'm a European, but I never praised Europe for crimes. I praise good things in all civilizations. I'm glad that you, as a Miao, are not hating China, and I'm glad that you understand that China's ethnicities are one people.
@GuitarDestroyer77777 If we are going to talk about building society in Philosophy wise; Europe had things to contribute just as well; such as The Republic, Democracy, Counsel, Senate, Trial by jury, The Magna Carta, Voting, Individual rites and so on... Ones again Europe was not behind, maybe one can say the other way around.
Yes they do read Sun Tzu's teachings, but they also read A LOT from the Romans and Medieval armies… My brother is in the Air Force academy.
I am a US. Marine, we did not read anything from the Art of War in the Marines. We read a hole lot from the Greeks, Romans, and Medieval/Renaissance warfare for both infantry and Armor. In fact in my MOS; armored warfare resembles a whole LOT of Roman warfare my friend...
The Chinese have more soldiers and have better weapons then the Mongols; but yet the Mongols still conquered them because the lack of full time discipline professional troops...
@xxTeutonicKnightxx It takes bout 7 to 15 weeks to train a fully professional Roman soldier. Then Romans all year around will train monthly in mock battles and train for siege warfare, also every month will march, test there sword skills, operate siege engine, swim, as well as unarmed combat. Most were full time troops and that is what they did as a living. To say Romans will get annihilated over a big wall is very funny as hell; building & taking down walls or forts are Romans second nature.
@HistoryHmoobGuy LOL Romans scared of war? HAHAAHA! WOW! Europeans learn how to plant crops? They knew how, may civilized people do, just some better then others; Europe was not & is not like most of Africa.
I think Qing's Forbidden City kind of copied the design of Tang's Da Ming Palace. Da Ming Palace is no doubt the most beautiful elegant and grand palace ever built in China, and it's at least 4 times bigger than the Forbidden City. I actually don't like the colors of the buildings in the Forbidden City, Manchu people had a strange taste for bright colour. Red and bright yellow, what combination is that!
Da Ming Palace was already burned to ashes for 1000 years before Qing Dynasty. I doubt they could "copy" anything that has no record left. It was much bigger for sure but Forbidden city 1000 years later was much more complex based on architecture. You can compare Korean and Japanese architecture, they still lag behind because they only copied from Tang Chinese and don't even use chairs for example. The best ever is Yuan Ming Yuan and i hope Chinese never forget what happened to it.
@TheTV1234 Qing's Forbidden City? Haha, man, please, Forbidden City was built by Yongle Emperor of Ming dynasty. Please don't make me laugh while trying to attribute something to Manchus....................................
Although the population of Chang'an during the Tang Dynasty was about one million people, Chang'an during the Han Dynasty was never more than 300,000 people (according to the Western Han census). Therefore, it's quite misleading to say it surpassed the city of Imperial-era Rome in Italia by just focusing on the total surface area of the land it occupied. This is in consideration that Imperial-era Rome is estimated to have fluctuated between 500,000 and a million residents. That's pretty packed!
as technology grows we seems to think everything is better but
we are not as good as the olden days people they have no technology or machine but they measure and built stuffs that are impressive and last so long
like the pyramid and how they moved one of the statue (in somewhere i cant remember) by cutting it all up in pieces and putting it back nicely up the hill because the water went up
i still think xi'an is the most great city for chinese, pekin was built by mongolian and machunese,of course dominated by chinese for 2 centuries.shanghai is more tend to western civilization.
@XXXXXXYYY1 i can tell your not asian to call Beijing; Peking(Western name for Beijing) To be exact Beijing wasn't created by the Mongolians, The Mongolian Beijing that was created as capital by the Yuan dynasty was called Dadu, it was razed to the ground by the Ming Dynasty first emperor Zhu Yuanzhang, the Beijing we see now is created by the Ming Dynasty third emperor and his decendants and expanded by the Manchus(Qing Dynasty) over their period of around 300 years rule.
@Darkdestiny388 1.until today you can see many airports in Europe use name "PEKIN" to refer the the destination to the capital of China(the people's republic of china). It is the mistake of pronunciation i've to confess, but if there is any problem?2.As far as i know the capital of yuan just located in today's you so called beijing, right?the size of dadu just within the second ring road of modern beijing.
@Darkdestiny388After the enthronement of Yongle Emperor of Ming, i think he only extended the city as what you said, meanwhile, commissioned the building of the Forbidden City within the walls of the Imperial city of Yuan's Dadu. He renamed the city to Beijing, what's more,he ordered to build a new wall southward, but didn't remove the previous one.
3.i remember qing, the manchuns only stayed in china for around 250 years,if you calculated or we may say added more 50 years into it,,,?
@XXXXXXYYY1 The first emperor of Ming dynasty renamed Dadu to Beiping after razing it, then the Third emperor of Ming renamed it Beijing after he turned it into a flourishing area again, the Capital was moved from Nanjing to Beijing after the Upsurption of the throne from WuDI, Anyways Ming Dynasty's fell so fast was because it was situtated at Beijing so close to the Northern border had it been at the traditional Xian area, or Nanjing i don't think Ming dynasty would have fell so quickly
i like chinesse people theyre one of these who once was a slave.
the japanesse used chinesse people for thier scientific experiments.
when the english went to china looking for business, chinesse couldnt recover for many many years.
today china is growing and many say one day china will be the greatest place again i just wonder if the chinesse will make stupid mistakes again ending without nothing ?
@TheDallasDragon Odds of China rising back to dominance is pretty slim unless either one United states failed or 2 world war 3 broke out which we should all pray doesn't happen. As for stupid mistakes every country makes those for instance Soviet Union and China help North Korea create a communist country, now NK is more like dictatorship, or United States electing in George W. Bush as president, so when mistakes happen their bound to happen.
@Darkdestiny388: Just keep in mind that there was no United States 300 years ago, and no one can tell whether US will stand 300 years later from now on. China and Chinese people were there, are here and will be here till the end of the time!
Meh, it's not the city that makes it great. It's the people. Chinese people from the ancient and imperial dynasties were really ahead of their time. Han eradicating northern barbarians, Tang with its influence on the Silk Road, Song being the last standing influence against the Mongols, Ming with it's gigantic armada .. It's sad how some people are ignorant of such a rich history in China's past.
@Graymoths Uhm, The word "Northen barbarian" is offensive and disrespectful. You should call them by their true name instead. This is why you are not respected, you don't know how to respect.
@bestwl I once asked the same question to a Chinese netizen. His answer was that historically and culturally, Xi'an is much much more honorable. If you think about it, the best Chinese dynasties, namely Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang made Xi'an (Chang'an) their capital. Sadly Luoyang couldn't withstand the northern barbarian invasions...
@bestwl Not really, Luoyang was burned at end of Han Dynasty by Dong Zhuo and it's historical importance was never restored. Xi An on the other hand lasted through Tang Dynasty the period of China as the world's only superpower.
China fell into a deep sleep at the fall of the Ming Dynasty. I'm happy to say that the dragon nation has reawakened. I pray they soon will be completely released from the shackles of Communism ( a barbaric Western invention).
China is the only nation that surpasses the West in innovation and invention throughout history. I love China and traditional Chinese culture. I'm not Chinese but I'm proud to be Asian and have distant Chinese and Mongol ancestry.

Rome and others deserve severe punishment...
GuitarDestroyer77777 4 months ago
@GuitarDestroyer77777 What are you talking about? There were just as much war or killings in that part of the world as there were in others. That sort of thing is not just limited to Europe…
Ok look what are you trying to talk about here? Philosophy or Religion? So Christianity does not shear good morals or values? Also when it comes to the power to the people or Individualism that is more of a European/Western philosophy, modern-day I think it is a bit over kill...
xxTeutonicKnightxx 4 months ago
@xxTeutonicKnightxx Look, do not be impure, Romans exterminated Carthaginian people to zero population, there was probably a small group of people that got away from Carthage, but the rest was exterminated, men, women and children, all dead. Christianity is connected to Buddhism, thus I love Christianity, but you make Christianity look bad, look what Spaniards were doing to their people and to the Natives. And anyone can have it's own life, thus individualism is present in all societies.
GuitarDestroyer77777 4 months ago
@GuitarDestroyer77777 The Carthaginian Sacrifice kids. Spaniards were doing to their people and to the Natives? And Aztics were great Human beings? Dude you are not geating my point, let me put it very simple; a Human does not have to be a White man to make Empires or to be a exterminator... This acks are found just about all parts of the world... I did not say individualism is not present in all societies, I sad it was MORE of a Western philosophy or culture...
xxTeutonicKnightxx 3 months ago
@xxTeutonicKnightxx Carthaginians weren't flowers either you see. There were a lot of terrible acts done to people of Carthage by Carthage. But it was nothing close to extermination, what Rommies did. And about humans, I agree, read my comments and you'll see that I'm saying we are all humans and all the same. And why is individualism present "MORE" in European society? That's wrong, individualism is present everywhere. You should read The Analects and you'll see...
GuitarDestroyer77777 3 months ago
@xxTeutonicKnightxx You, respect Roman terror, like most of the Europeans, you praise Europe and disdain Middle Kingdom (China), this is impure act. I, on the other side, believe in equality of all, men and women, religions and ethnicities and all cultures of our ancestors. I do not make a difference between a Chinese and Arab, European and Native American etc. You are the one who is dividing and praising bad side of Europe, because you are as arrogant as others who are destroying this world..
GuitarDestroyer77777 4 months ago
@GuitarDestroyer77777 I respect Roman terror? No I do not, and I did not disdain Middle Kingdom (China). Praising bad side of Europe? Like what have I said that is praising bad side of Europe? The Germans are known to be a culture of engineers? Romans had a very strong Empire? Europe had things to contribute just as well?
xxTeutonicKnightxx 3 months ago

Asian people are naturally smart and naturally good at war...Even today America millitary school read and follow Sun Tzu's teaching...White people use to love to go to war with Asian but lately it has been with Arab people - they are easier to beat

FUCK ROME,,,when people think of rome, they automaticaly think about the movie 300...In reality the romans were a bunch of fags scared of war
HistoryHmoobGuy 6 months ago 3
@HistoryHmoobGuy 300 is Greeks not Romans.
xxTeutonicKnightxx 5 months ago
@xxTeutonicKnightxx It takes bout 7 to 15 weeks to train a fully professional Roman soldier. Then Romans all year around will train monthly in mock battles and train for siege warfare, also every month will march, test there sword skills, operate siege engine, swim, as well as unarmed combat. Most were full time troops and that is what they did as a living. To say Romans will get annihilated over a big wall is very funny as hell; building & taking down walls or forts are Romans second nature.
xxTeutonicKnightxx 5 months ago

TheTV1234 9 months ago
@TheTV1234

That's pretty packed!

as technology grows we seems to think everything is better but
we are not as good as the olden days people they have no technology or machine but they measure and built stuffs that are impressive and last so long
like the pyramid and how they moved one of the statue (in somewhere i cant remember) by cutting it all up in pieces and putting it back nicely up the hill because the water went up
ancient people you guys are totally awesome

i still think xi'an is the most great city for chinese, pekin was built by mongolian and machunese,of course dominated by chinese for 2 centuries.shanghai is more tend to western civilization.
XXXXXXYYY1 1 year ago
@XXXXXXYYY1 i can tell your not asian to call Beijing; Peking(Western name for Beijing) To be exact Beijing wasn't created by the Mongolians, The Mongolian Beijing that was created as capital by the Yuan dynasty was called Dadu, it was razed to the ground by the Ming Dynasty first emperor Zhu Yuanzhang, the Beijing we see now is created by the Ming Dynasty third emperor and his decendants and expanded by the Manchus(Qing Dynasty) over their period of around 300 years rule.
Darkdestiny388 1 year ago
@Darkdestiny388 1.until today you can see many airports in Europe use name "PEKIN" to refer the the destination to the capital of China(the people's republic of china). It is the mistake of pronunciation i've to confess, but if there is any problem?2.As far as i know the capital of yuan just located in today's you so called beijing, right?the size of dadu just within the second ring road of modern beijing.
XXXXXXYYY1 1 year ago
@XXXXXXYYY1 : That's right, I never liked the English translation of Peking, sounds like a duck!
TheTV1234 9 months ago
@Darkdestiny388After the enthronement of Yongle Emperor of Ming, i think he only extended the city as what you said, meanwhile, commissioned the building of the Forbidden City within the walls of the Imperial city of Yuan's Dadu. He renamed the city to Beijing, what's more,he ordered to build a new wall southward, but didn't remove the previous one.
3.i remember qing, the manchuns only stayed in china for around 250 years,if you calculated or we may say added more 50 years into it,,,?
XXXXXXYYY1 1 year ago
@XXXXXXYYY1 The first emperor of Ming dynasty renamed Dadu to Beiping after razing it, then the Third emperor of Ming renamed it Beijing after he turned it into a flourishing area again, the Capital was moved from Nanjing to Beijing after the Upsurption of the throne from WuDI, Anyways Ming Dynasty's fell so fast was because it was situtated at Beijing so close to the Northern border had it been at the traditional Xian area, or Nanjing i don't think Ming dynasty would have fell so quickly

i like chinesse people theyre one of these who once was a slave.
the japanesse used chinesse people for thier scientific experiments.
when the english went to china looking for business, chinesse couldnt recover for many many years.
today china is growing and many say one day china will be the greatest place again i just wonder if the chinesse will make stupid mistakes again ending without nothing ?
becarefull China
TheDallasDragon 1 year ago
@TheDallasDragon Odds of China rising back to dominance is pretty slim unless either one United states failed or 2 world war 3 broke out which we should all pray doesn't happen. As for stupid mistakes every country makes those for instance Soviet Union and China help North Korea create a communist country, now NK is more like dictatorship, or United States electing in George W. Bush as president, so when mistakes happen their bound to happen.
Darkdestiny388 1 year ago

Graymoths 1 year ago 35
@Graymoths Uhm, The word "Northen barbarian" is offensive and disrespectful. You should call them by their true name instead. This is why you are not respected, you don't know how to respect.

I think China's most honourable city should be Luoyang
bestwl 1 year ago
@bestwl I once asked the same question to a Chinese netizen. His answer was that historically and culturally, Xi'an is much much more honorable. If you think about it, the best Chinese dynasties, namely Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang made Xi'an (Chang'an) their capital. Sadly Luoyang couldn't withstand the northern barbarian invasions...
MeatJigglingZombie 1 year ago
@bestwl ur wrong ,that must be xi'an , Xi'an is the capital of 13 dynasties,If u want to understand China u must first understand the Xi'an
zhangjiabi 1 year ago
@bestwl Not really, Luoyang was burned at end of Han Dynasty by Dong Zhuo and it's historical importance was never restored. Xi An on the other hand lasted through Tang Dynasty the period of China as the world's only superpower.
