I must admit it looks fun, maybe because I've been a SW fan since early years and like story driven games. Although I don't really like hotkey MMO's that are based around luck, gear/stats to win.. This is when some of us wish it had more dynamic and skill oriented combatsystem. But I'm gonna get it anyway :D Bounty hunter, here I come.

I can confirm that. Played pvp twice on gamescom. And although i use keybinds myself privately I was uncomfortable with the mouse and keyboard. There was a razor mouse provided, but the buttons were so small I had problems clicking the right buttons. And the keyboard layout was broad and uncomfortable to me. I ended on desktop twice during play. So i just began clicking buttons. Noobish, yes. But if you are at home with your equipment you will perfrom better throughout

I agree with you on gw2. Looks good to me. But I have played pvp in the old republic for 2 hours. It is NOT slow and static, quite the opposite. It is fun and face paced.

To judge to game by the footage alone is not quite valid. There were people playing pvp, that have never played SWTOR before. Many haven´t even played PVP in an MMO before. This people are kind of overwhelmed and performing sub par. I have seen equally boring pvp footage from GW2 at gamescom. depends on the players

I have played Pvp myself now at gamescom several times. I was playing a guardian onca also and had some difficulties. Thirstly you are supposed to have two stuns, but they only work in PvE. Remember though, that this is level 14. So you don´t have the chance to stun or interrupt the enemy as a guardian while other classes have several working cc for pvp. You may however aoe snare people.

Also most classes have a skill to free themselves from any cc with a cooldowntimer, others don´t.

Hmm i always see the Counsular Baby sitting. really turning me off from the class and i really want to play one. I have not seen one good video of a Sage using offensive skills other than Project and the knock back. The Inquisitor though is always showing with its pretty purple lightning XD. I find myself becoming more interested in Sentinel and Gunslinger now.

@DJAmsterdam22 try the shadow, they are the more offensive of the jedi class you can dps or you can spec as a tank. Also they have in-combat stealth

I did decide not to silence the original sound, as Gabe is providing too much valid information during the playthroughs, even so, I think the sound quality is quite acceptable.

I tried to keep the camera as steady as I could, but after 20 Minutes i was getting quite painful holding up the camera over my head, so forgive me for fainting now and then ;)

I think the Alderaan PVP Playthrough is quite good. So ist the Huttaball trailer. I suspect those trailer to air official soon.
