Not a fan of Halo myself, but I must say, Halo Wars was actually fun for a good while, especially when you 3v3 with 2 friends online. I'm a covenant player, reppin' the Arbiter. (Well, I used to when it first came out, idk if he's still as good at completely shitting on any and every ground-based unit.) Nice video, got me wanting to play some Halo Wars again lol.

I don't believe Halo Wars 2 is ever expected, because when ensemble broke, the majority went to robot, but it was only finished by them. they didn't want another. It's a real shame though, it was an awesome game

Ensemble Studios was shut down by Microsoft after they made halo wars, which is truly sad as they were one the best RTS developers in the industry. I also doubt any studio will pick up the franchise so there will probably never be a sequel.

P.S. There is definitely more than six maps lol

Halo Wars 2 is unlikely. Even as well as the first one sold, the market for console RTS games is small. Halo Wars is a perfect example of how to do it, but it just didn't catch on. Maybe you could try Starcraft 2 or Command and Conquer?
