Hey nice fish. I live in Cadott WI & i caught a bluegill that big or bigger in a small pond. I sorta lost it though, i had it up in the air to my side hanging onto the line i was just about to grab him & he wiggled off into the water cause i was standing in shallow water

Nice fish I catch Bluegils that size here in Southern Calif in the city pond I love Bluegill Fishing I am dying to go got 2 fish last year that hit 2 lbs 1 was a Redear on a Bluegill. I fish the Ocean bit the Pan fishing is so much fun.

Nice fish, but thats common in a michigan lake that i fish in, fish there are upwards of 8 inches, and i have caught an i 11 inch bluegill. Keep up the good work guys.

We've caught big 'gills like that at the up-ground reservoir in Wellington,OH. My biggest one yet was 11/4lb. Lost some a bit bigger on wax worms. 2 5G buckets of those,some fries,coleslaw,& beer make a great summer dinner!

@crazytacostudios There is no limit you dumbass. Idk theur might be in some places but even if there is, the limit is not more than 6 inches. Don't just randomly say shit to make somrone else look stupid. Everywhere i have ever been fishing in my whole life there has been no limit for bluegill. Ive kept 2 inch baby bluegill before. For two bite size filets.

if you havent caught a gigantic bluegill like this one before, it really is incredible how strong a bluegill is, they can be mistaken for bass or even pike. They are incredibly fun to catch, and if you havent experienced it, you havent lived.
