Simba did the right thing; you can't trust anyone around your family or daughter. Kobu should have told the truth before it came it so deceptively. On the other hand, Simba should have let him speak, for Kovu did not attack him; Simba should have noticed that before being prejudice.

This song gives me goosebumps. When I saw Kovu's face in this sequence (and knowing him) I just wanted to punch every one of those animals in the face, including Simba! They were complete asses to him!

This song made me hate simba, kovu was telling the truth he didn't know that he was leading simba into a trap. Kiara was right about simba, he will never be like his father, mufasa. Mufasa was a wise leader, if he was still alive he would believed kovu.

@Seanschemmelfan I can understand you, and I agree about that Mufasa was very wise and that Simba will never be his father. HOWEVER as a leader you have to make choices, not only for yourself, but for many others as well. As a king the fate of every one of your subjects depends on your decisions and Kovu had "betrayed" Simba once already. He couldn´t risk that it happened a second time, who knows what could happen... But the song is still awesome.^^
