I'm a novice at art journaling and I "accidentally" created this texture before... not knowing that it's an actual technique that the pros do. I guess some techniques do start out as "happy accidents". tfs
Hi Paula...I been missing your vids and wondering what you were up to. Should have known it was totally art related. I purchased the Somerset issue you were featured in and have really enjoyed the whole book. I must catch your ustream but I never remember when it is on!! TFS. Good to see you again!!!
@dorothya1950 Thanks so much for the wonderful comment! I am so happy you are enjoying the Somerset magazine! I hope to see you on Ustream. It's every Wed night at 8:30 EST and Saturday at 9:30 Est. ;)

@tahangar Hi Tracy! That is a Moleskine Large Sketchbook. I just tried to do a google search and couldn't find a weight! It has thicker pages, thicker than my Canson Mixed Media Journal which is 98lb.
@JournalArtista You are the sweetest for looking that up!! That does help me a lot!! I was having trouble with my paper curling and it looks like I am using too thin of a paper. Thank you!! I can't wait to see you on Ustream! Hugs to you!!!
what a sweet quiet voice you had today. i enjoyed you on ustream but i kept getting frozen. i am glad those are recorded so when my internet is doing better i can watch what yall did. waves~~~
Such a fun technique. Have you tried embossing folders on the gesso? That is really fun too. Just wash them right away though :) See ya tonight if you're on.
