It is a sad thing that the ignorant transformers "fans" think this is fake and hate it when this is acualy real and the even more ignorant fools who don't know about season 5 watch fanmade intros and love them. I have tried to explain it to them but sadly they are to far gone.
0:12 - 0:13: The 2-gunned Autobot Targetmasters, Landfill, Scoop, and Quickmix. Does anyone have a better video quality of them shown here? Also need one of the Decepticon ones too. Can't find them in an actual name/subgroup-search on youtube.
@CelesteK What?! Season 5 was the best! sure it was short but it introduced a lot of awsome characters into the cartoon. Like powermasters and pretenders. You have never seen the live action segments have you? It is awsome because the characters like the micromasters finaly get to appear in fiction. There is a season 5 no matter what you say so don't go around saying there isn't. When you do that it misleads people. I personaly like the pretenders, powermasters, micromasters , and actionmasters.
@26030656 Its not fake as this was one of the '90's show variations of the G2 phase featuring a stop-motion version of Optimus with Peter Cullen reprising the voice as host along with a kid Tommy showing only handpicked classic episodes along with a rare tv airing of Transformers: The Movie that was shown as a 3-part finale, however it was not called season 5. This was meant as groundwork for a revival of the G2 run, but the line got ditched in favor of the Beast Wars concept.
@skyfire007 The "G2 idea" just never caught on since it was a dismal failure by Hasbro over here stateside and is widely regarded largely as false canon as the G2 phase was nothing but repackaged G1 shows. Seldom do fans acknowledge G2 and just refer everything labeled under it as G1 before the era of the Beast Wars.

@26030656 No it isn't. You know nothing about G1. Season 5 was released with all reruns but with live-action segments that contained the characters from the toyline from 1987-1990. This is its intro. This intro, like the season 4 into, had a few scence from the series (in this case the movie) but was mostly commercials. This is the best season. G2 is pretty awsome though. My point is it isn't fake this acualy aired on TV. G1 doesn't end with rebirth.
If you have any more season 5 footage please upload it before you loose it, as in right now! I just don't want the few people who actualy have it to loose it and it get lost to everyone forever.
OK...this intro theme is almost perfect, the only thing is the fusion canon blast is suppose to come at 0:23/0:24 not at the end...lol, but that's ok. The genius who started the transformer series and its theme song knew exactly what inspired him I think...because i'm neo-existential i'll put it this way - sexual appropriateness to the One who's at the pinnacle between love and fear is underscored by a fusion canon assasination blast, not by wishy washy romantic interaction.
@yellowpete79 I've seen one video that has a bad condition quality version of this intro and one of the Tommy and Powermaster Optimus Prime portions,even the beginning narration of an episode.Click on the realated videos section,"Transformers intro 6 (year 5 intro)" unless you've already saw it.A user also uploaded the Touch music video but also has another Tommy and Prime part a minute before the music video starts.
@yellowpete79 search G1 S5 episode 1 pt1 on youtube. Someone posted the season 5 more that meets the eye parts 1 2 and 3. Also you can go on tfraw.blogspot.com for more. There is a section for every episode for the first half of season 5 but there is only videos for more than meets the eye.

As far as I was concerned there was no season 5. All it was was a rehash of seasons 1-4. And it wasn't even that good at all. :P
