@Kallytom Dallas was a realistic show in it's heyday.they didnt need to camp up the storylines or name drop exotic locales or royal wedding crap. Dynasty was a good show but they are remembered mostly for their wardrobe, not their plots. Dynasty was very superficial, geared toward women & Dallas was grittier earthier,geared toward men. Dallas had the Ewings all living in the same house, dining @ a table that sat 8. drove themselves & had the Ewings didnt ever try to oust their parents.

@diorlista they wanted blake to sleep with alexis in season 7 when he lost his memory and alexis to wind up pregnant (like sable in season 9) but Linda evans and john foresyth killed the storyline since they both had it written in their contracts that the producers could never have one character cheat on another!!!!

My dad is a stock broker/finance planner, he states that the share holders MUST vote on these choices esp. when they concern the future of the company in such a dramatic way. Any one venturing such a move would be questioned for being silly & dangerous move. Stock holders & boards have removed founding CEOs before & still survived (look at Gates he's not CEO now & the world didn't end)

Blake is such..a...MORON!! Colby Co. is a giant. You can't buy up that much stock without them knowing about it. Even if the purchasing company is a division of Denver Carrington they're going to have records. How the hell did he amass such a fortune? He's a one trick pony. He's desperation is driven by madness.

Alexis has plenty of reason to laugh at his pathetic attempts. And it's also funny watching Ben make her squirm, as well.

Alexis was at her best when she was out to destroy Blake AND ALSO in those moments where she and Blake came together [Fallon (PSM) 's death for example] Ben was like a spastic, rabid dog who didnt know which way to go or who to bite and how hard lol! still, the drama of Ben/Blake/Alexis is what really rescued season 6. Its a shame Dominique didnt have a better storyline. They really softened her too much.

@mastmedia you are correct this was the beginning of the end because the viewers did not want to see blake loose his empire to alexis only to regain it back.....and how could a man as smart of blake not think 1 step ahead of alexis and secure his china oil leases...also no bank would allow u to borrow against something u r leasing and dont own!!!
