I'm not a racist, but to see clear: In my bureau we employed gypsies. Their work was to issue parking cards for handicapped people. They became normal salary for it. After 3 weeks of their work, we became reports, that the cards are traded on the streets (these cards are providing free parking spaces). We never had this problem before. Is it just a coincidence or gipsies began to steal them from the office and began selling it on the streets? Any guess?

It is statistically proven, that the crime levels are higher in those areas, where more gipsies are living. I believe, that the cause is the lack of knowledge, that causes higher unemployment amongst gipsies. But education is free in Hungary, so they even have the chance to attend the best universities.
@gyokszi But what we experience here in Hungary, that they are not really interested in higher levels of education, and since they also have to supply themselves, they find alternative ways. And without education the community is unable to handle them, since hundreds of people are unemployed with degrees too. And we are also unable to tolerate high crime levels. A solution could come only from gipsy communities. But there is not any gipsy-made association for issuing unemployment.
@gyokszi In an association like that, richer gipsies (there are a lot of them, another issue is their enrichment:P) could employ the unemployed ones and educate the youth for their better future. @gyokszi The Garda-issue is difficult and I don't have a strict opinion about them. I think, that it is normal that they try to do something for themselves and the country. I find their anti-crime attitude good, but making a category called gipsy-crime bad. In every case, we have to say, that they are unarmed and never harmed anybody. Walking in uniforms was (is) not illegal so legally they were fine.
@gyokszi I don't agree with you in the education-thing. In Hungary almost every village has a school. Sadly, we are not as big as Australia for example, so you can't be really far from education. It is a heritage from the socialist times I think, that education is good and equal everywhere. Schoolbooks for poorer students are granted by the state free. So only what they need is @ss to sit down somewhere and learn.
@gyokszi If they want to attend university, they are free to do. When I began my studies I became the same amount of plus-points for 2 passed language exams as my roma schoolmate, who became the points just became he is a gipsy. The acceptance system cannot be influenced by anybody, so if a gipsy student reaches the points needed he will be accepted. I learn studies of law and state now and I have gipsy schoolmates. But they are learning since their elementary hard. So there are good examples.
@gyokszi And I hope, that you don't believe things stated in this video, like if anybody in an EU country calls 112 the police is just laughing and don't responding. The economy works as I stated, the schools are free and everybody can be accepted to any schools, the police has to respond to any emergency calls and you can look after the rules of attending universities in Hungary. I'm not a racist, but to see clear: In my bureau we employed gypsies. Their work was to issue parking cards for handicapped people. They became normal salary for it. After 3 weeks of their work, we became reports, that the cards are traded on the streets (these cards are providing free parking spaces). We never had this problem before. Is it just a coincidence or gipsies began to steal them from the office and began selling it on the streets? Any guess?

It is statistically proven, that the crime levels are higher in those areas, where more gipsies are living. I believe, that the cause is the lack of knowledge, that causes higher unemployment amongst gipsies. But education is free in Hungary, so they even have the chance to attend the best universities.

@gyokszi But what we experience here in Hungary, that they are not really interested in higher levels of education, and since they also have to supply themselves, they find alternative ways. And without education the community is unable to handle them, since hundreds of people are unemployed with degrees too. And we are also unable to tolerate high crime levels. A solution could come only from gipsy communities. But there is not any gipsy-made association for issuing unemployment.

But we don't experience, that this is, what they do and the majority is financially unable to help them more. @gyokszi The Garda-issue is difficult and I don't have a strict opinion about them. I think, that it is normal that they try to do something for themselves and the country. I find their anti-crime attitude good, but making a category called gipsy-crime bad. In every case, we have to say, that they are unarmed and never harmed anybody. Walking in uniforms was (is) not illegal so legally they were fine.

@gyokszi I don't agree with you in the education-thing. In Hungary almost every village has a school. Sadly, we are not as big as Australia for example, so you can't be really far from education. It is a heritage from the socialist times I think, that education is good and equal everywhere. Schoolbooks for poorer students are granted by the state free. So only what they need is @ss to sit down somewhere and learn.

When I began my studies I became the same amount of plus-points for 2 passed language exams as my roma schoolmate, who became the points just became he is a gipsy. The acceptance system cannot be influenced by anybody, so if a gipsy student reaches the points needed he will be accepted. I learn studies of law and state now and I have gipsy schoolmates. But they are learning since their elementary hard. So there are good examples.

These calls are recorded and the operator can face charges when mishandles. Or the Garda must have a rally point. Yeah, we cannot show where, but we are 100% sure, that it must be there. when you have a ethnic minority that has a culture very different to the majority, and are responsible for most crime problems will come up between the ethnic groups.
the magyar garda is not the answer but should have the right to operate.

two solutions
1. ethnic cleansing (inhumane but effective)

I agree that gypsy crime is a big problem in Hungary and it does exist very much indeed.
However, I don't feel that the creation of a millitant racist guard is the answer to this issue. The Magyar Gárda is the shame of Europe.

I'm convinced this is a real problem in Hungary as it is in all of Europe and most especially in Eastern Europe. Now, I'm not sure exactly how biased this report is. Of course in reality the situation is always more complex, I do believe that...
But I'm more inclined to trust the word of the Helsinki Committee -- than that of someone like Krisztina Morvai. I'm hoping things will start moving in the right direction soon !
